I am SO thirsty but plain water just seems so disgusting to me! (I usually love water and drink a lot) I wait to drink because it's so distasteful, then I get so thirsty that I gulp too much and my stomach being full of liquid makes me feel terrible!
Anyone experience this, and have any tips for me?

I can drink water with lemon and ice. Hot tea. some juices. What about fruit? They're mostly water.

there was a thread about this in the I'm Pregnant forum with lots great tips. The majority of replies mentioned something with bubbles, or tea, or stuff with lemon/lime flavors.
For me, lemon, lime or orange mineral water does the trick :) Anything with bubbles really beacause it makes me burp which feels very settling.

I'm a flavored seltzer fan. I find it soothes my stomach and quenches my thirst. The only thing to watch out for is that you get the "no sodium" kind (which most are). Otherwise it's just as hydrating as regular water.
Hope that helps!

I haven't been able to stomach our tap water but have been able to drink bottled water just fine.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Last time, fizzy lemon water appealed to me (it was the only thing I could drink for weeks) but this time it sounds gross too! Maybe I associate it with feeling ill now....but I did pick up some organic lemon recharge today and mixed it with a LOT of water--it was good! So, thanks! I can drink again.:dizzy:

I find that even drinking lukewarm or room temp tap water was better on my pregnant tummy than ice water (which normally I LOVE ice water!!). I actually much prefer slices of lime or frozen strawberries in my water for a little 'perk' :) Lemon just does not APPEAL to me. It has this 'tinny' taste when I'm pregnant!

Celestial Seasonings Black Cherry Berry Herbal tea.
I make it as iced tea, and then drink it diluted with water. It really helps to settle my stomach.
It contains: Hibiscus, rosehips, chicory, blackberry leaves, hawthorne berries, and chamomile. Natural black cherry flavoring and sweet cherries.
I think these are all alright especially in the consumed quanities, but I am interested if others know something I dont.
