So I have been making peanut brittle and it is turning out AMAZING! But, the problem I have is that it is sticking so bad to my glass pans I have to chissle it out. I tried heating the glass dish up and that worked *better* but still was not easy to get out. I buttered the heck out of the dish too.

I can not belive how hot sugar can get! wholy crap-o-la.. I burt my hand so freaking bad last week and it is still hurting. I am weary of putting something other than glass. But would a tin pie pan or turkey pan work? Then I could I just bend it and it break apart?

Help!!!

I pour mine on a buttered cookie sheet and it comes out just fine.

So do you then kind twist the cookie sheet- like you do with an ice tray?

I use wax paper and it works fine :)

I use wax paper

And yes, sugar can get freaking hot! I made toffee last week, and the sugar mixture needs to be heated to 290 degrees!

Do you have any silicone pans or baking parchment?

doesnt the wax paper melt? I have been afraid to use parchment or wax paper because you have to heat the sugar so freaking hot.. I do not have either parchment or wax or a silicone pan for that matter either. But I can get one or the papers if need be.
