Which are you "hoping" for. I mean, take out the whole "as long as the baby is healthy" answer. Yes, we allo want healthy babies. But what gender are you wanting your healthy baby to be????
I'm always curious!

We honestly do not have a preference. A girl would be great as then my girls would have another sister, but a boy would be nice too since we've never had one.
We aren't finding out the sex, which is awesome, but tough when it comes to choosing names.

I want a girl. :) I feel like our first will be a girl, and a friend with two boys also said that she thinks we'll have girls.

If I had to pick, I'd say boy.
My dd has a cousin across the street who is like a sister to her. If this one's a boy, my ds will have a little bro who can be his bestfriend.
But of course I would be thrilled with a girl! Already I couldn't resist buying a cute little dress for her from the thrift store just in case!

I'd say boy...I just feel like I'm supposed to be the mama of a pack of little boys! I'd like my first son to have a little brother! But of course, happy healthy baby is most important, no matter boy or girl :)

I have been wanting a boy for Abby to have a little brother, but now that I am pregnant, I think it is a girl. Hubby wants another girl.

I always see my children in dreams early on in my pregnancy. A couple of nights ago, I had a dream about boy/girl twins! AAAAAAHHHHH!
I guess if I had a preference, I'd say a girl, since I have two boys, but I'm pretty sure I'm destined to be the mother of boys exclusively.

If I could choose, I'd pick a girl. I already have 2, and I'd prefer boy-girl-girl to boy-girl-boy. (Does that make sense?) *But* I'm kinda getting a boy vibe. (We have such a hard time with boy names!) Whatever it is, I hope it's sticky!!
I have no suspicions about whether I'm carrying a boy or girl right now. I hope that its a girl, but that's b/c if it is she will be named after my great-grandma and have a lovely name. We have boys' names picked too, but I don't feel as strongly linked to those names.

I always wanted a pack of boys. Really hoped for boys before. Thought I would want a boy again and I do. But. This will be my last baby and I am surprised to feel a longing for a girl. It may just be that ds1 told me I am pregnant and the baby is a girl named Annie and I want him to be right (except for the name). He knew I was pregnant before I did. He would love a baby sister. So I guess I want both for very different reasons.

I'm very cool with whichever, although another girl would be easier since I already have the clothes :lol DH is calling it a girl already, and DD started calling it a "baby broder", but now it's a "baby sistah" Only time will tell!

I am hoping for a girl... and I do feel intuitively that I could be caring a girl!!! :) However... I LOVE my boy and I got this boy thing down pat... so ... I would be happy with either one... such a blessing!

Newbie here. I would love a girl, but with two boys already, I know what I'm doing there, so a 3rd boy would be good too.

I am yearning for a girl. And so is my whole family! My mom has 6 grandsons and my mil had an only child (boy) so everyone wants a baby girl. I know I will fall in love either way though. :love

DH has no preference but I kinda want a boy. I wish I had some deep reasoning behind this but I don't. It's just my feeling right now.

I'd be lying if I didn't say that I'm hoping for a girl. I feel extremely outnumbered with 3 boys in the house already (yes, DH counts as a boy:p ) and way too much testosterone. So, I'm hoping to balance it out a little with a girl. We shall see!

That's us, except in reverse- we already have a little boy. We are also not finding out this time.
I do have a feeling it's going to be another boy though as my twin sis just had our second boy, I have my one... so we shall see. Either way there are pluses for sure!

I guess a boy. I have a wonderful girl, but she is 100% Daddy's girl. I hear boys are closer to their moms. Is this true?

Personally, for practical reasons, I would love to have another girl because we have TONS of little girl stuff. But DH would LOOOOVE to have a boy, so I will be happy with either! Actually, DH is so determined to have a boy that if this babe is another girl, that just means we get to keep trying for more! lol.

My daughter didn't like her father until about 12 months old. She still definitely prefers me (sometimes too much, if you KWIM.)

I can only speak for my little girl, but she has very little to do with her daddy. She is just now getting to the point where she likes to play with him, but when push comes to shove, it's still all about the Mommy!

We have 2 girls, and we're hoping for a boy this time! We would truly be happy with either though. I have no intuitive feelings about it this time.

DH has had a recurring dream in which he has 3 girls, so he is convinced that this is his "fate" lol. I think that for a lot of reasons, we both want girls. We were both sure that our first would be a girl (and she was).
DH said he is positive this one is a girl too. Great by me! We have scads of girl clothes.
Frankly, I am really scared of having a boy...my DH is the only male Ive had a positive relationship with. I know thats probably really illogical, but there it is. :o

i'd love for this to be a boy, but i have no idea. which is weird because with dd i knew she was a girl the moment i got the + pg test. i'm actually a bit worried that i don't have any gender feelings. dh is teasing saying its boy/girl twins :lol

Boy!! We definitely would love to have another boy. Our first boy was born in May, but he didn't make it(because the doctor messed up) so we would love to have another boy. Of course, If you ask our 2yr. old daughter she say's she's getting a brother and a sister too! That would be perfectly fine with us!

a boy. We have 2 highly sensitive, very temperamental but awesome girls! I wouldn't mind a boy for a change! I think my DH would LOVE a male to relate to! :lol

My 1st DD was not a daddy's girl with her bio dad. horrible relationship. But she is my DH's "daddy's girl" very much so. DD2 didn't start bonding with daddy until very recently but I can tell that eventually she will be a daddy's girl. Fine by me. I was a daddy's girl through and through and have so many wonderful memories. I would love to have a "momma's boy". :)

I really want a girl. Can't be outnumbered! :lol But seriously, a boy would be cool, as DS would have a brother close in age, but I feel like I'm meant to be a girl mommy and this may be our last.

I've always loved girls, just relate easier to girls. When my sister was pregnant we were all so convinced the baby was a girl we spent 9 months calling her Clara. The last few months of her pregnancy though, my sister was dreaming about a boy. And at the birth her intuition turned out to be true... my nephew is now 2 years old and I'm crazy about him. So now I guess I don't care really - boy or a girl, just a healthy baby is all I care about. Having said that I have a feeling it's a boy. And it's going to be a surprise because we are not interested in finding out beforehand.

I secretly want another boy! I have a 16yr old girl and gesssh, girls at that age are so niave and idiotic about boys. She says she loves this dude & he loves her...but no matter what I say to her she says "but he says he loves me". We have talked and talked to her about how boys will say anything and everything and sound believable just to get in her pants. I really don't want to go through it with another girl. One is hard enough. Boys seems so much easier to raise although more mischievious at times.
My 17yr old boy is more honest and upfront than my daughter though, but I think that depends on the individual child. Thank goodness he tells me everything about his life and tells me what my daughter tells him. I just keep my mouth shut since I want her to be able to trust her brother, but she worries about her taste in guys as well. Here I have a beautiful, smart, spunky, outgoing, loved by all teachers girl who is "in love" with a thug looking guy in a drug rehab and still smokes pot. I just don't get it, she has always been intrigued by "bad boys".

I would really love to have a baby girl. I already have two boys who I love with all my heart (of course) and I would be just as happy to have another healthy baby boy, but I would really love the experiance of having a daughter. With my last pg I hoped for a boy and I got him. Dh says, "I don't make girls." LOL, so we'll see... but we probably won't find out until the birth. We plan/hope to have one more baby after this (four children total).

I would be really excited to have another girl, dd would have a sister. We saved lots of her clothes & it is so fun putting them in their little dresses :love, awwwww.
BUT, a boy would be just as nice... I, too, have always heard that boys are closer to their mamas...and then we'd be a little more balanced around here. With the cats, there are 4 girls to 1 boy. Plus, we have a name if it's a boy.

Totally makes sense to me, as it was exactly what I am thinking! I don't really have an intuition and if I did I'm not sure I would trust it. I was completely CONVINCED that DS was a girl, but he's all boy!

I'm torn. I've always wanted a girl (cuter clothes to dress them in and I've always felt like you "lose" your boys when they get married). But now, I'm not so sure. I'd love a girl, no doubt, but I'd love another little boy too. So officially - no preference.
I have had 2 dreams that it is a girl and I've got my heart set on a girl's name, but not a boy's so that *might* mean something... with my son I had zero intuition. He was a complete surprise.
If I have another boy it will be super cheap because we already have everything - that's a big bonus!

I'd love another boy - dh would LOVE to have a girl. My boys are total momma's boys!! Don't get me wrong though - they love their daddy too but you know how it is! He'd love to have a Daddy's Girl! After 2 boys we really have everything for a boy, so that would work out in our favor. Plus I'm not sure I'd know what to do with a girl! :lol :lol
gizzyntaz - our ds's are the same age!

Well, I have already had 5 boys, and you would think I would want a girl, but really a boy would probably be better. Yes,I "want" a girl, but I already know what Im doing with boys, there are no surprises there.:p
