I was thinking about how a boy could interpret the fact his parents had him circ'd. Am I off base, or is this what he could learn?

* My parents couldn't love me the way I was when I was born, I wasn't good enough
* My parents couldn't accept me as an individual, I have to "look like my dad"
* My parents think they know more than G-d/evolution who gave me my foreskin
* My feelings of pain didn't matter, I don't matter
* My dad's insecurity was more important that any emotions I have
* My mom didn't think I was smart enough to clean myself, she didn't trust me
* My parents couldn't stand up to their friends for my benefit, I'm not very important

· My privates are not private
· What is important to me is not important to my parents
· My body is a canvas for my parents to create what they see as beauty
· My parents don’t see me as an eventual adult
· My body is a signboard for a religious statement
· Appearances are more important than function
· It is OK to be aggressive and impose your will on others
· Other people are worthless and expendable to your desires
· Never question a doctor
· God creates defective bodies
· My penis was too powerful and needed to be wounded
· I was not capable of controlling my sexuality
· Sex is dirty
· Penises are dirty
· Males are dirty
· Males naturally are disease carriers
· Males are defective
· I had to be altered to be acceptable to females
· My mother is a pervert
· My father is a pervert
· My mother didn’t love me as I was
· My father didn’t love me as I was
· I had to be cut to be love-able

Actual thought processes of a 12-14 year old on learning why his penis looks like it does.

Do boys become resentful if they have sisters? "My parents had to alter me, but not li'l Susie." type of concept?

I don't have sisters so I really don't know but I doubt it. It's a very personal thing and all of the thinking is inward. I have a younger brother who is also circed and I can't remember ever thinking about him and his circumcision. I think if he had been left intact, I would have had some very serious questions and problems as to why I was "The One."
