View Full Version : Guess what I saw today?!

A sac, and a yolk sac, and a tiny beating heart. :D

I am six weeks now, and just had my u/s to make sure the babe is in the right spot this time. And it is! Everything looks just fine. Baby is 5.6mm long, with a heart rate of 107. Sitting right on top of the yolk sac.

Sure feels good. Of course, now I am obsessed with doing all I can to keep it there, and growing and healthy!

One thing is certain, though: I'll sleep better.

It was pretty uncomfortable having my ovaries checked (corpus luteum cyst on the right side), but worth it to see a viable little embryo resting in there.

I also puked this weekend, so this brings it home. I have pictures for Baba to see when he gets home from work! :D

When did you fnid out?? Maybe I did know and I just don't rememebr.....

Yeah :D isn't that little heart just the best thing in the world. The relief is unbelieable isn't it.:)

Yeah, its_our_family, I got my bfp in April.

And yes, the relief is really something.

Awww...thanks, guys! If ms is any indication, this is a strong one. And maybe another boy!

Wasn't there something on another thread about boys sitting right on top of the yolk? Of course, that's all relative, considering that things in there are like spheres, but still. I don't have any "feelings" on it, but I'd be OK with another boy. And dh already has a name for him if it is a boy! I think we're going to have an argument! I'd like Aissa for a boy (Arabic name for Jesus)...he wants Ilyas (another prophet--Elias, perhaps?)...but I just think that, with a December baby, when Christians observe his miraculous birth...hmmm.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is great best of luck your in my thought i hope u have agreat birtt and a wonderful healthy bundle of joy. Ask ellery to watch over u and the babe i will:love
