We had dinner with the IL's last night. It was the first time we've seen them since we got the ++ so we had DS wear his "I'm the big brother" t-shirt. Their reaction was about what I'd expected I guess. They helped us out financially recently, and all MIL could say was "how are you going to do it?" and "you know there are ways to prevent this right?" Well after a bit she did say she was happy we're having another baby, but that she was worried about us. FIL didn't say anything, just walked away and didn't say a word to me the rest of the night.

I really didn't expect much else, but it was still just so upsetting. My mom was literally jumping up and down screaming when I told her, and both my parents gave us big hugs and said congratulations. It's just such a contrast.

Then DS started throwing up during dinner and hasn't stopped since. I'm exhausted. Thanks for letting me vent. :o

awww, I'm so sorry. I can relate on the negative feedback from inlaws. We have not told them about this pregnancy yet, but when we told them I wasn't going back to work last year they just couldn't believe someone would want to "sit at home and do nothing." :lol :lol :lol

((HUGS))! I hope you get happy excited responses from everyone else you tell!

That sucks. I called my aunt to tell her and she started ranting about how I am not pregnant "enough" to be feeling anything yet and how I shouldn't get excited because I would likely have a miscarriage.

Poor hubby had to comfort me for an hour.

What is so hard about "Congratulations"?

*hugs* I'm sorry. This is why my in-laws won't be finding out for awhile...We weren't trying to get pregnant at all and it's kind of a bad time for us so I'm scared what they might say. :/
