My husband got a job in Morrow and we're planning on buying a house in Peachtree City. I am 4 months pregnant and we have a 21 mo old boy. If there is anyone out there who has info about the area, I'd love to hear from you.
My last pregnancy I labored naturally for @ 26 hrs in a birth center with the assistance of two fabulous midwives, pushed for 5 and ended up transfering to a hospital needing a c-section. My son was 10lbs 11 oz, and though i'm a tall woman at 5'11" I really needed the help in getting him out. But, I want a VBAC and need a VBAC knowledgible OB and Hospital. I also want a Doula.
I also need advice on a good pediatrician.
Also, are there some good Mom's groups in the area. I think there is a Mom's club, but sometimes they can be a little "oh my god I can't beleive she is nursing that toddler!", though I myself quit nursing my son at 14 mo and am satisfied we quit when we did its just annoying being in a group where mom's judge other mom's for continuing.
anyhoo. enough rambling on and on. please reply if you know anything about peachtree city! I'm assuming i'll have to give birth in atlanta to get the care i want.
