So, my fancy Kitzinger book (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0375710477/ref=wl_it_dp/002-5742087-5492852?ie=UTF8&coliid=I3AZGWVPZJ2XR&colid=3KBBY5KO94RE2) does not even have "cramping" listed in the index, so I had to come here to talk to the real experts!

Is anyone cramping?

For a few minutes, a few times a day, I'm having very light cramping. (I described it to my husband as the way your bladder feels after you've emptied a very full bladder - as if it's just sort of shrinking back to its usual size.) And this morning I had what felt like more-than-mild menstrual cramps when I woke up.

I've heard cramping and bleeding are normal, but to be worried when they're combined. Did I hear correctly?

Also - what are your symptoms? Other than the above, the BBs growing every day, and maybe some tiredness, I have no symptoms. I don't feel PG in the least.

How about everyone else?

I'm also having very light cramping. I had it last time, and freaked...I talked to the nurse at my doc's office and she said mild cramping is normal so it's not worrying me this time. It's just like you said, just a twinge of cramping a couple times a day.

I'm a lot less tired this time. Last time I would go to bed at 8pm and be dragging at 6am when I got up for work. I'm up at 10 tonight so I guess I'm not too tired! :)

No MS yet, just a little bit of nausea if I let my stomach get too empty.

My face is broken out like a teenager during puberty!!! That happened last time, too.

I'm going to the bathroom pretty frequently, which did not happen last time. It's very amusing to my DH since I'm normally a go twice a day kinda gal, and now I'm going every hour or so.

That's it for me so far! My symptoms are very mild like last time, and I'll feel a lot better when I go in for my ultrasound on the 9th of Feb.

Hi there. I'm not in your DDC but I noticed in your ticker that you were 4 weeks pregnant. I went to babycenter and at this point your baby should be implanting and that could explain the mild cramping you are feeling.

4 weeks preggers (http://www.babycenter.com/mybabycenter/104.html)

I'm hoping that aleviates a bit of your fears. I know how easily they come.

Blessings,

Denise :wink

IME cramping at this point is totally normal. I remember with DS being convinced my period was right around the corner at any time. I've been feeling the same way with this one.

I don't have many other symptoms that are completely pregnancy-related yet. I feel hungry a lot, but that could be because I am back to "regular" portions rather than "holiday-sized" ones. I also feel really tired, but DS doesn't sleep through the night and we both have colds, so it's likely not just due to the pregnancy. I've got more acne than normal, and I'm acting kind of witchy... :)

Ah, I feel so reassured! Thanks so much, everyone. I feel like starting a "List Your Symptoms!" thread every week.

I still just don't feel pregnant, but they say the nausea doesn't kick in until week 6 or so ... can't wait.

I had to go to a Motherhood maternity store today. Scary! I've gone up at least one bra size already, so wearing my regular underwires wasn't an option, and I'm sick of wearing a loaf bra (oh, I mean sports bra) every stinking day. Found a lovely model, and let me tell you, I'm a new woman with this thing! I highly recommend spending the 15 bucks for one.

Hey ATD Mom, glad you are feeling better. My cramping has ceased at the moment and no spotting. I would say I don't feel pregnant either except for the quizzy tummy and how really, really tired :zzz I get every couple of hours.
As for bras, I'm not there yet, thank goodness. I'm large to begin with so I can't imagine them getting bigger!:dizzy: However, I do find it more comfortable to sleep in those summer tanks that have a shelf in them.

Have a good night. Time for some sleep!

I figure its related to the hormones, but its sort of like being hypersensitive and aware, and a little bit horny :) :lol

The cramps have been much worse today..a friend of mine said she had what felt like bad pms cramps with both of her pgs...so I am trying not to worry about it too much. Its pretty uncomfortable, and I didnt have it last pg.

as far as m/s goes, last time, I had m/s from 6 wks to 8 months. and I threw up multiple times a day. it was awful, and I am really hoping that doesnt happen this time, obviously.

I'm choosing to think of the cramps as gentle Braxton Hicks- your uterus constantly contracts, pregnant or not, but generally the muscle is relaxed so you don't feel it. Also, BH contractions tend to get worse with each subsequent pregnancy, so that could explain it.
My m/s is here with a vengeance. We had a chinese takeaway last night (our anniversary dinner) and then dd didn't sleep and this morning I can barely move.

I am still in a lot of pain, mostly my back, with some abdominal cramping. I started spotting yesterday, but there seems to be nothing so far today. I still feel like AF is coming, but I POAS again this morning & got two lines again.

AF is/was not due until Jan 9th, so I am only about 12DPO. i got my first BFP on the 3rd.

Hi everyone. This is a great thread. I got a :+Jan. 4th and had tested on Jan. 2 with dollartree tests that came back very very faint. It was hard to tell if it was an evap line or what. But FRER came up dark for me on the 4th almost immediately! I go to the doctor on Tueday for bloodwork.

As for my symptoms, around new years I got this humongous zit right next to my nose. It was the size of three zits in one. I was so embarassed because it felt like a teenager zit!! I also have been nauseus after I eat? It is very mild so I am not complaining. I have been having precurser af cramps and my throat has been incredibly sore.

Does anyone know what I can take for a sore throat? Also, am I able to drink celestial seasons cinnamon spice tea? I know that is a wierd request but I usually drink a cup of tea everyday in the evening. I have read that cinnamon can cause uterine contractions?? Is decaf mint tea okay? Thanks for your help!! This is my first so I am clueless...
