I have been noticing a tightening of my clothes, but attributed it to Xmas weight gain. I weighed myself and I'm only a few pounds heavier. But NONE of my pants fit!
Dear heavens.
I dug through the maternity bucket and got some early pregnancy maternity pants! I can't believe I'm wearing maternity pants today. Thankfully, long tops are all the rage right now so you can't tell that I'm wearing maternity. They're the ones with the thin band around the waist, so definitely not obvious. I'm just thicker and my entire front sticks out more. Definitely some bloat going on.
Anyone else? I didn't even need maternity clothes until almost 5 months the first pg, though a bit earlier with #2, and now, this is rediculous!

This is pregnancy number 2 for me, and although I'm not having to wear maternity clothes yet I've already had to go up a size in jeans. I've got several sizes of jeans because I was a size 8 when I got pregnant with DS, went down to a 6 a few weeks after delivery, and for the past few months I've been in a size 4! But last weekend I couldn't figure out why my jeans were so tight, then I tested and got the positive and I guess I'm a little bloated maybe?

I need to find a good pair of maternity jeans this time around. I had some cheapies from Motherhood last time that had the belly panel and they were so uncomfortable!

I've been wearing maternity clothes for a week. <big sigh> Although this is my 6th and I attribute it to stretched out mommy elastic. I'd really like to get some jeans with the low belly band this time around. I was thinking about making some out of some old regular jeans althought I need to find some wide elastic. I Honestly the long fleece sweatshirts are only going to work another week or so because they are pulling tight around my middle. Then I'll have to dig out the maternity tops.

One of the reasons I was hoping to be pregnant was so that I had an excuse to wear comfy maternity clothes! :lol I've put on a little weight lately, I think, so now I can just tell myself that my pants are all tight cause I'm pregnant!!

Old Navy's having a great sale now! Stock up ladies!

Me too. I've actually lost a pound or two in the last few weeks (despite eating like MAD) and my jeans were already getting uncomfortable a week ago. I managed to squeeze into them earlier this week, but yesterday I dug out the "early maternity" pants. Luckily these are just elastic-waisted with a little bit more room in front, but I love the long shirts to hide my rubber-banded jeans I wore today! :lol

I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised. I was completely out of almost all of my regular clothes by 13ish weeks with DS, and he was my first pg AND I had lost around 15 lbs by that point! Guess I just carry all out front.

Anyone heard of thai fishermans pants? (http://www.thiptop.co.uk/) Nature's solution to a mummy tummy, whether it be going up, coming down or somewhere in the middle.
I need to order some more though. Why oh why have long flowing hippie skirts with elastic waistbands gone out of fashion?
