It seems as if it's divine intervention. Three months after my miscarriage, I'm pregnant. Some quick math - counting 40 weeks from my last period - gives an estimated due date on 12-18, the exact day I went into the hospital for an emergency d&e. We're very happy, yet anxious as my first prenatal visit isn't until next Tuesday. I'm trying to focus on the positive with the "glass is half full" attitude. While I certainly understand why some women want a lot of tests, I prefer to keep the faith that everything is perfect instead of getting a test to see if anything is wrong. But a few extra prayers never hurt. All is going great, but boy am I tired after working part time and chasing my 21 month old.

I've been wondering how you're doing! Glad to hear from you.

Congratulations on the wonderful news. I know there's a lot of anxiety along with the joy. Please know we're here for if you need to talk.

Thoes first weeks can be so diffucult physically! It's hard to work when you're feeling so tired. Try to take some short naps when you can and eat healthy. Try not to go to long between meals. At least have a glass of OJ or a few crackers every 2-4 hours. This will help maintain your glucose levels and keep your energy up.

Again Congratulations! Wonderful news.
