Nausea has set in:gloomy: Anyone else having morning/all the time sickness? What are your favorite natural "treatments"?

Eating. The one thing worse than throwing up is throwing up on an empty stomach :(
Sea bands worked last time. I'm booking an appointment with a homoeopath as well, but I figure by October at the latest it'll all be over.
Definitely eating something.
I've been fortunate so far and have had minimal nausea (knock on wood). I take 50 mg B6 a day (not for nausea) and have heard that B6 helps some with morning sickness. I also find that drinking Rasp. leaf tea or rooibos tea helps, the rooibos especially.

Earth mama angel baby morning welness tea or kit! ;) It has ginger, spearmint, red raspberry leaf and more. Organic too! Ginger in general is good.

ginger ale, although SIL who had muderous morning sickness swears by ginger beer which is stronger.

I've had it for a few weeks now. I constantly feel like I'm just getting over the flu (and some days like I have it full force)--aches, tiredness, nausea...
I've come up with some remedies:
1. B6--I've started taking 50-100mg/day
2. probiotics--I take a tsp or two at a time throughout the day of the high-probiotic yogurt (the equivalent of 100 regular yogurts in one small container). It's supposed to help
3. Nux vomica crystalized seeds. Dissolve 2-3 under your tongue as needed.
4. easy-to-digest prenatals that are taken 4 or more times a day instead of pills that deliver your daily dose of iron, or folic acid, or otherwise in one shot. Choose vitamins that are natural, and probiotic.
I'm trying acupuncture next.
I can't STAND to be nauseous. It's the worst ever -- and I even say so when I don't feel that way.
I do try and eat but I do find I feel worse most times after eating.

I second ginger ale/ ginger beer. The stronger the better.
I also often feel the most queasy after eating and while nursing ds.
At least so far I can still eat.

This probably sounds crazy, but I'm jealous of all of you who are feeling sick already!! Every night when I go to bed I hope and wish to wake up in the morning feeling ill. :o It would just give me much needed peace of mind that this pregnancy is going to continue.

:hug Erica.
I know how you mean. Every time I throw my head down the toilet I say hello to the bean. And then I look at how grim the toilet bowl is, and how badly it needs cleaning and feel even sicker.

People say this a lot. FWIW, a chemical pregnancy (i.e. no baby and sac only) could very well elicit the same symptoms. Being nauseous doesn't mean a healthy pregnancy. And, imagine miscarrying after paying these dues for weeks or months, then having nothing for your pain and misery.
It's hard, as someone who really is suffering and praying for repreive, to hear someone else say they are jealous of my misery and wish they had it.
I promise that I wish I could give it to those who want it more than those who want it really want it.

In my own personal experience, morning sickness = healthy babies. With my 2 chidren, I had horrible morning sickness. With my son, it lasted the whole entire 9 months. However, with all my miscarriages, I never had any sickness. That's why I *wish* I did have some nausea - it would make me feel much better about the outcome of this pregnancy.

I had it from 6-17 weeks with my first pregnancy(2nd ds) and while it did remind me that I was carrying a healthy pregnancy, I'm doing all that I can to avoid it this time around. Making sure I eat before I get too hungry is the most important thing I think. It becomes this vicious cycle of being so hungry I can't even look at food, and nauseous from not being able to eat anything.

Last time I had m/s from week 6 to month 8, upchucking several times a day. Super yuck. I also had lots of food aversions, including chicken. I craved pizza constantly and ate that alot. In retrospect, I didnt eat very well for the m/s...I've heard its related to not enough protein and that carbs dont help.
This time, I am not quite 6 wks yet, and have thrown up twice, both times in the middle of the night. Both times it was pizza...LOL So I am going to lay off the pizza, red sauce, etc and see if it makes a big difference. Last time was truly awful, and I didnt have a toddler to chase around back then!

Ugh... the nausea really set in today. Until today it's just been little bits of ick here and there but I've been sick all day today and still feel like crap. No throwing up yet, but it almost feels like puking would be a relief. I went through two full months of this all-day seasickness with DS and I'm not looking forward to repeating it. I'm even feeling light-headed at times!
Sea bands helped a little bit with DS, and a coworker loaned me her ReliefBand (http://www.reliefbandproducts.com/) which actually worked surprisingly well. No access to one this time though so I suppose I'll have to dig out my Seabands.

Ahhh Erica, With both my DDs I had very mild if any morning sickness. Never threw up. But I swear I literally slept for 3 straight months (even on the job with DD1). And both my girls are as healthy as can be.
I think with DD2 though I took extra precautions not to get sick... I'd have DH put crackers by my bed before he went to work. Before I even got up out of bed, I'd eat a few. I think that really help to stave off any sickness. :)

Sadly, b/c of the severity of my MS, NOTHING worked for me.
But I did read here on the home and body board that some women swear by mixing water with apple cider vinegar (ACV). I'll try to search for that thread, I think I have it bookmarked, b/c I don't remember the quanitity of each, though it was very little ACV.

I am sick to my stomach constantly! Especially after I eat. With my first pregnancy I had NO symptoms at all until belly swelling at 6 months and foot swelling at 8 months? Sigh. I think this time around is going to be a WHOLE new ball game, eh? Uhg.

In addition to ginger( I love gin-gins!) and eating frequent small meals... I found smelling diffused lavendar to help tremendously. I've read different things about whether or not it's safe during early pg, tho... but only AFTER I used it to get through my first tri- w/my dd. I used spearmint, too (peppermint IS supposed to be bad).
