Remember I was 5w3d with no fetal pole?

Well, today I'm 7w1d (according to u/s) and the baby's heart rate is 133!

It was nice to see. They didn't have to do a transvaginal this time, which was also nice.

Oh, and I would suggest to any new mamas who have yet to have an u/s--you do not actually have to drink 24ounces of water if you cannot fit that much into your bladder. I've spent plenty an u/s in agony because I did so, and finally figured out that I can drink half that and have a full bladder without feeling that pain you feel when you drink 24 ounces and hold it for an hour or more while you wait! I drank 13 ounces today and the tech commented on how full my bladder was. I knew I knew I was previously overfull. In fact, last time they said I was so full I was squishing everything.

Congrats:)

About the full bladder, my doctor never told me that last time and we still got great results. My bladder was probably pretty empty!

Yeah! How exciting to hear your baby's heartbeat and know that everything looks okay. I'm so glad. My first app't isn't until the 22nd, an eternity.

Thanks for all the well-wishes.
Sabo, I wouldn't have had the u/s except for complications and wouldn't have seen anyone for a long while, and no u/s until 18 weeks! I'm glad I got this reassurance however.
