We had our first u/s today!

We've had 5 miscarriages since our daughter was born in 2002, and we've never seen a heartbeat in those pregnancies. So we weren't exactly optimistic today when we had our RE appt. But imagine our surprise when the RE showed us the gestational sac on the screen, and our baby - with a HEARTBEAT!!! What a glorious site!! The RE said "there's the heartbeat!" and my husband responded with "the WHAT?!" Then he started to cry when he realized that yes, our baby does indeed have a beating heart. :love

The heart rate was 127 bmp and the baby measured at 6 weeks, 3 days so only 1 day behind (RE says that's no big deal).

We're absolutely thrilled.
