Symptoms: a little grossed out by food and chemical smells, tired, tender breasts, some days grumpy/others not

I'm a little leary since this is my 2nd pregnancy and the 1st ended in MC (July 05) so I've lost a little faith in my body's ability to do it (despite my efforts on a conscious level to tell myself I can). I opted to wait over a year before trying again. After a couple of months trying with no result a friend recommended I try Vitex and within 2 months I became preg. I hope that's not a sign that my body needs hormonal regulation once I'm preg as well...since the Vitex (Chaste tree berry) helps regulate hormones. When I MC I had no morning sickness (I don't now either) so right now I am wishing I would start feeling it (masochistic, right?!) to reassure myself that this time it will be different. Trying to stay positive--would love more than anything to become a mama!

My other kids are ds 10/98, dd 10/2000 and ds 12/2003

Symptoms so far are fatigue and sore nipples. With my other pregnancies I had weird cravings, very sensitive to smells, and m/s. I told myself if I ever got pregnant again I would not have those symptoms. So far so good!

I'm a vegan, eclectic home-schooling momma of two. Our kids are 9 & 11 1/2 and we have one due Sept 23.
hubby and I have been married almost 15 years (15 in Sept... which makes the baby quite a nice anniversary gift! ):duck:

We are currently living in DC. We will be having a home-birth.. (my first!)
and I'm very interested in getting information about cloth diapering... it's been a while since I diapered my two.. although I did rely mainly on cloth then... stilll things have come a long way baby! and with all the choices and options, it looks to be even easier now... just more to know! LOL

we have called many places home over the years... Germany, Arizona, Los Angeles, NYC ... we plan to leave DC after the baby is born and have recently considered Portland, Oregon as a place to land and take root. If not Portland, then we will most likely be back in CA... though portland is definitely more affordable! =)

This will be my third child. I live in a remote village in Alaska. We do have a hospital, but there are no emergency C-sections or epidurals (no anesthesiologist). I gave birth to the other two naturally (my second was a beautiful water birth in a birth center) so am hoping all goes well with this one too!
