What can I take for a cold?

I just came down with a cold. I normally don't take over the counter meds. I usually take herbs or homeopathic remedies. For a cold I usually take "Cold Calm". Of course, it says check with your doctor if pregnant, which I can't do at this moment. Is anyone familiar with Cold Calm and if you can take it. If not, do you have any recommendations? Thank you.

I don't really have any great ideas other than to megadose with some sodium ascorbate (Vit C). I really believe this helps if you start using it when you first get a cold.
