I am nine weeks pregnant with a four year old DD who would still like to nurse a few times a day. She has been really understanding about limiting nursing.
I also developed a subchrionic hematoma last weekend after intercourse and had a lot of bleeding. Baby was fine on ultrasound and we see the doctor again on Tuesday for another ultrasound.
Apparently I have a small bleed in the placenta near the cervix and they think it will resolve. I am to rest if I am actively bleeding and we are putting off intercourse for the time being.
This group of doctors is against breastfeeding and would tell me definately no. I am wondering if the mamas here have any other information I can consider. I don't want to risk this pregnancy.
I have a history of miscarriage in the past and I am 42 so I think that makes me higher risk than some moms would be.
Thanks for any input.
