glucose test

I've been doing a little research on the glucose test for gd and am findint that the drink they test with is not always accurate. That there are meals you can eat or sub the drink for an amount of apple juice. We're not at that stage yet, but I'd like to get some info on it. Has anyone run into this or done the meal instead? I did not have gd with ds, so I'm hopeful this time around.

I refused all GD testing and will again. Do a search for GD and Henci Goer.

i did some research and 17 bracks jellybeans (the big ones) has 50 grams of sugar in it....which is the same as the drink!

my OB told me i could eat the jelly beans and test instead of drinking the drink b/c i have a bladder condition and the glucose drink would just eat at my bladder and hurt like hell!
