Moving to Orlando. Need friends, info, advice.

It looks like my husband will be taking a job in Orlando. Our lease is up the end of June so we will probably be moving in just a month -- but where to? What are the newspapers in the area? can they be viewed online? Are there any areas you'd recommend? advize against? I don't know anyone down there and have only been to Florida once when I was a kid. We are interested in buying, but probably not immediately. I'm sad to leave the wonderful community of friends up here. And even though I don't really like our apartment I love being walking distance from the park, play ground and community center. And I love having 4 seasons... But I'm excited too. What do I have to look forward to?

I'm pmed you, but now that I've read this post, I've have some questions for you. Where is Millertown? Where is your dh's prospective new office located? The main paper here is the the Orlando Sentinel - they have a pretty huge website, you should be able to find lots of help there. Let me know how its going and if you guys need a welcoming committee!
