View Full Version : Am I pregnant, am I not?

What the heck is going on?

I just took two more pregnancy tests-- one last night and one first thing in the morning-- and both were negative. Definitely disappointing.

So let me go over the possibilities for my peace of mind:

It could be too early to test I suppose, but I have been having symptoms since Jan 21st at least, so I would think I would be testing positive by now . . . granted I always get symptoms immediately (like the first day or second day after conception) so I suppose maybe to early but seems unlikely.

Oh, and I have been pregnant three times before, and my symptoms are just like what I've experienced in the past. So I would think I would recognize it.

If I'm not pregnant then all of these symptoms still seem to be hormonal, but not sure what would cause that. :dizzy: :scratch

So I am trying to not feel pregnant, so I won't be too disappointed if I'm not, and I'll keep taking good care of myself of course.

Can you get in for a blood test?

Hmm, that might be something to do. Thanks for the idea.

I hate the "I'm in limbo" feeling.

Is it possible you could get a blood test done? Also, you might look into ordering tests from a place like www.early-pregnancy-tests.com I make sure to have a supply on hand, it's nice to be able to periodically test when I don't have my period yet, just in case. If you buy more than a certain amount, shipping is free. I think the tests I bought worked out to be pretty cheap -- less than a dollar per test, including tax (and shipping was free). And they're supposed to be really sensitive -- they measure as little as 20mIU/ml/hCG, which they say means you can get a positive test 6 to 8 days after conceiving. They've worked early for me. Anyway, it's just a thought, I know you've mentioned before that you don't want to keep on spending $$ on tests; this is a bit more in the short term, but it's really cheap per test.

I feel your pain. I got a faint, faint, faint second line today and have no idea if I'm pregnant or not. Yet I'm lurking here because if I am, I'll be due October 23rd.

Well, I have one more POAS test left so I will use that one too before I schedule a clinic visit.

Just not sure how long I should wait? Hmmm. :shrug

Okay, I'm going to assume I'm not pregnant for now, so I will say goodbye . . .

Good luck with your October babies everyone! :wave
