I am looking for a good place to buy reusable cloth bags online. WAHM or mass produced is fine, just looking for sturdy and reasonably priced. TIA!

Vanessa 02-26-2007, 05:55 AM I don't know if you have a Kroger's but ours sold some nice bags for $1 a few months ago. I'm not sure if they still have them, though. They were the ones in this link. I think there are some other companines listed on there as well. http://www.bringyourbag.com/about.php I actually need to go back and get some more. I don't usually shop there, so it was justlucky that I found them originally. koru 02-26-2007, 07:47 AM I purchased an inexpensive lot on eBay. I just want to shop around a bit and :eyes look for some cute prints. The wallypop link has some... :) but I love looking at all the cute prints and picking a fav. veganf 02-26-2007, 01:27 PM I bought some Stop & Shop bags for .99 and they're great. But I like the Trader Joe's prints the best. Apparently they're coming out with all different colors soon, so I'll be increasing my stash soon so I won't have to use any of the paper or plastic ones. They were 99 cents a piece and seem to be made pretty well.. although we've only had them for a few months, so time will tell. Dar 03-10-2007, 09:59 PM I love, love, love my chicobags (http://www.chicobag.com/)! On the website they're 5 for $20, but they do co-ops, and they wind up being under $3 each including shipping. I love that I can stick them in my bag - they're tiny when they're folded into their pouch. When we had canvas, we were always making unplanned stops at the store and the bags would get left at home, or else they'd be floating around the car somewhere getting dog hair all over them... dar MomToKandE 03-11-2007, 08:16 AM Another plug for Chico Bags. I love mine! They're the first reusable bags that have actually worked for me. Because they fold up so small I'm able to keep a few in my purse all the time so they're always ready. When I was trying to use the canvas bags I was always leaving them at home or forgetting them in the car or whatever. mama2tzatziki 03-12-2007, 09:53 AM The Chico Bags look really cool! To do a co-op with them, do I just email or call them and ask about co=op/bulk orders? Or is there something else I have to do? Thanks! Noisette's_Maman 03-12-2007, 10:08 AM :notes2: Dar 03-12-2007, 10:08 AM There's a chicobags coop going on right now... Todzwife (I think I spelled that correctly) is running it, so you might check with her. I know a lot of people didn't get in who wanted in... dar Sarah71476 03-12-2007, 01:06 PM I haven't used these, but I think i am going to order some - they are very inexpensive!! (http://www.bhappybags.com/collection.html) I admit it was the funky prints that got me over the hump from "thinking about it" to actually switching. Love 'em! AKchick 03-14-2007, 07:19 PM I have gotten all of mine from ecobags.com (about 40 bags total I think) and I love them! They are heavy duty and I use them for everything. I have a big vehicle so I just keep them in the back all the time. It took me a while to get in the habit of remembering to use them, but once it became routine I rarely forget to bring them with me. I got the very plain ones (some of the cheapest), I figure I can always let my kids decorate them for an art project. These are the ones I have: http://www.ecobags.com/Our_Products/Canvas_Bags Natural canvas, standard wide babymakesthree 03-15-2007, 07:32 PM We use these. (http://www.bhappybags.com/collection.html) I admit it was the funky prints that got me over the hump from "thinking about it" to actually switching. Love 'em! I ended up getting some locally from our co-op (ecobags) but I love the sheena one! May have to splurge and buy another.. :wink orangefoot 03-16-2007, 12:55 PM we have four of these (http://www.reusablebags.com/store/acme-dual-handled-lightweight-hemp-tote-black-natural-p-22.html) which sre great. The double short and long handles look like a gimmick but depending on what you are carrying they are really useful - even dh will take a bag! I used them to carry huge amounts of paperwork and books to and from classes when I was teaching and they held up great. I got them through a co-op here on MDC and a lovely lady posted them to me here in England. Even with posting they are great value. beansavi 03-16-2007, 01:00 PM I don't know if you have a Kroger's but ours sold some nice bags for $1 a few months ago.
