Hi!
I'm Laura. DH Jay. We're both 30.
Mama to 16 month-old Isaac, still nursing like a champ :)
EDD 11/05, planning a HB, first MW appt. next Monday.
Let's see, what else...We're living with the in-laws right now, working on our new (to us) house. Can't wait to move in. We haven't told the ILs yet, but I feel like we should since I had a m/c (#2) last November and will be seeing my MW sooner than I would have otherwise. (MIL looks after DS while I work 2 days/week, have appts, etc)

Hi. I'm Liz. I have lurked on MDC for a while and I am excited to get in and participate. I am 27, married to Tim, and still nursing Henry (16 months). I just got my positive today and my EDD is 11/3.
I recently moved from the US to Norway and I am a little nervous about going through a pregnancy and birth in a new country, completely different healthcare system, and in a new language.

My name is Stacie and I made 30 in December.
I have 4 living children and one angel - ages are in my siggy.
My EDD based on ovulation date is 11/5/07. I just got my "dark enough to convince my husband" BFP yesterday!
Any other thoughts: Wishing everyone here a H&H9! Oh yes and we're hoping for a boy too to even out numbers, but either will be great! Just want to know baby is healthy and happy. We tried for a boy (my chart (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Stace)), but don't plan on finding out gender until birth.

Hi, I'm Leigh, 29 years old (will be 30 in September!) My DD Allison turned 2 in January and we've been TTC since late fall, so I was very excited to get my BFP today!!!! :D My EDD is sometime in early November- DD just weaned in the last month so my cycle was still a little wonky- Based on a 28 day cycle my EDD would be November 5, but I think I ovulated a little earlier in the month.
DD was born in a hospital, with CNM attending, and it was an all-around good experience. It is a WHO certified Baby Friendly hospital, so all of my wishes (rooming in, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, delayed cord-cutting, etc) were respected and encouraged. We are, however, considering a free-standing birth center this time. We're touring the local one this Wednesday, and they also do home births, so that is still on the table. DH is very resistant to doing anything differently than last time, since it went so well. We'll see! :D

That sounds just like us! We've been bouncing between Holy crap, and wow, how exciting. I was just getting used to the idea, till we went to the mall today. I saw all the clothes I was going to buy when done loosing weight, so got a bit bummed. But we always knew we'd want 4 at some point. And hey, why not get all the lack of sleep and diapers out of the way ? lol
I did look at a house we'd all fit into today, not perfect, but at least a start

I had been pretty sure I was pregnant, and then the morning after getting my first faint BFP, DS walked into my bedroom and declared "Momma, I really want another baby". Blew me away. Still haven't told the kids yet - they're going to be *so* excited!

Name: Heather
Age: 28
Any other children/ages: This will be our first!
EDD: November 10
Any other thoughts: I am really excited about being pregnant! I am laughing about the DH's who wouldn't take a faint line as a positive - my DH said the exact same thing. On Sunday (9dpo) I took a $tree test and it had a faint line, so we decided to test again on Monday. The same thing on Monday (10dpo) with the $tree test. My DH then insists on going to the drug store to get 3 other brands of tests to try to get a darker line. We did a prego/not prego digital test, a +/- test, and another ll test. They were all VERY positive! LOL!
Apryl Srissa
02-27-2007, 09:53 PM
Aren't men silly:lol
I have a bunch of preg tests I got in a coop. First he said he didn't see a line (it was there, but light), then it wasn't dark enough to count. Then after a repeat, it was an expired test (has over a year left, so nope). Then it was a cheap one. So I bought one yesterday. It was the + - kind. And it was not faint either lol
It is just starting to set in a bit, but only barely. Since we don't want to tell the kids till I'm a bit farther, we have only talked 'in code' using phrases that we know they won't get. So I was shocked to hear myself use the word pregnant. I just stopped midsentance and said, oh crap, I'm really pregnant. I guess I really hadn't understood it till then

I'm on progesterone and my due date is November 1...my 30th birthday! :)
Oh, and the RE said he thinks it's twins too! ;)
We're planning a water birth at home and a lotus birth too. I also have a client that is due one day before me! :) She says she dreams I go into labor before she pushes the babe out. I tell you...that'll be on client I have to leave! ;) Cause I'm SOOOO gettin my gentle birth! ;)

*My brain is just on fire right now with all of the thoughts that logically I know I have quite some time to figure out :lol My main concerns at the moment are keeping the bean and myself healthy, figuring out where I'll deliver and with who (if anyone), and how DD will take this transition in her life. Plenty of other stuff too, but I'd better save some thoughts for us to chat about over the next nine months!

This is surprise baby! Thankfully we have settled into our new house and are now surrounded by my entire family, so I am excited to have them part of this, as we lived 750 miles away for the first 2.
The only thing that breaks my heart is that my dad won't get to see this one. He died Dec 2005, but had been able to get to know my boys before he was gone.

Hi everyone! First time joining a DDC on MDC!
Name: Lisa, and DH Rob
Age: 26 (27 in April)
Other Children/Ages: Noah, age 2.5 ( self-weaned in December :happyt: )
EDD: Nov. 15, 2007
Any other thoughts? : We've been TTC since January, and I've felt pregnant since end of Feb. But I kept getting negative tests... And felling like I was nuts for feeling pregnant! I'd even decided to stop testing every week until on a whim yesterday mornign I tested, and got 3 bold-faced positives in a row. Another positive this morning!
I am excited to be pregnant again but also apprehensive as to if I've got what it takes to handle 2 kids!

I'm a little late joining, but I hope you guys will take me anyway. ;)
I'm Tara (hello to the other Tara on the thread!) and this is baby #3. My EDD is 11/12/07 but my kiddos run late so I'm thinking it may be a Thanksgiving baby. Hopefully no later than that! I have already warned DH that if I'm eating a turkey dinner while still PG I am going to be very, very grumpy!
I have a DS who is 5 1/2 and a DD who is almost 3. DD still nurses every morning but it already hurts me and I notice she is nursing for less time already. :( I work as a doula and midwife's assistant. DD was a HB and I am excited to have another one. But I am still a little :bigeyes about this. I had told DH I definitely wanted another baby and was getting mad at him for being indecisive... then V-Day was 5 days before O and surprise (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/a6360)! We are pregnant! :lol
Nice to meet you all!

HEY EVERYONE!
I am Nicole, I am 26 about to be 27 in May and this is my FOURTH little one. EDD is Nov. 12th but my last 2 have been considerably early so I am just hoping I make it to Nov at all.....I have Emma who was born Nov 28 2003 she is 3 and Elena who was born Nov 28 2004 she is 2 :lol and then we had Quinn this past April 22 of 2006 and now baby #4....we are quite shocked and working on feeling NOTHING but joy....a surprise of sorts.:wink I truly am ecstatic.....Had 3 previous c-sections so my mission now is to figure out what I am going to do birth wise.....homebirth is out as the last 2 babes were in NICU for a while.....I dont know that I will be able to find someone willing to do a VBA3c and frankly, I am nervous about BOTH another section and a natural delivery....we'll see....I have time.....got a feeling this is another girl......

Holy cow Bloomingmama congrats! :balloons What made you suspect there was more than one before the u/s?
Mommybytheword IMO means "in my opinion" and TWW means "two week wait" the time between ovulation and your period. There's an abbreviation thread at the top of the TTC forum that may be useful and I'm sure there are more abbreviation threads around. It's confusing when you're just learning the lingo!

Hi! We found out this weekend that we're expecting our second. DS is one year old today. :bouncy I'm Stacy and I'm 32. We are due the first week in November. I'm still nursing my DS and hope to continue, but he seems to be less interested already.
I'm having some m/s, but it really only happens when I don't eat every couple of hours. Clear strong flavors appeal to me (hot and sour soup, yum!) and other stuff like cheese does not.
I never got around to losing my previous baby weight, so I'm starting out 20 lbs. heavier than I wanted to. Ick.
Now off to read the other posts.

EDD: Nov 18 going by LMP, but I suspect I ovulated early, so could be more like Nov 11.
Thoughts: This was rather a surprise! We had been kinda sorta thinking about maybe TTC starting in June or July. I was tracking my fertility signs, but apparently not quite well enough...or dh has some really tenacious little swimmers. Sorta hoping for a girl, but not really too picky, a boy would be great too. :D

I am tentatively checking in here.
My name is Sara
Hubby's name is Randy, we've been married for almost 4 years, madly in love for 9.
We have two sons who are 11 and 20 months. The older one was mine before I met Randy, now he's ours.
Logan was born at home, outside, by moonlight, underwater, into his Daddy's arms on July 2nd, 2005. It was the monst amazing experience of my life and we are hoping for the same this time (except inside, Novmeber is cold!)
We have had multiple miscarriages and our last one was only 4 weeks ago. I was due in October last time and now I am due at the end of November.

Hi all! I am Joanna and i'm 28. I have a daughter who is almost 8 from a previous marriage. EDD just changed to 11/14. I have a wonderful SO, named Chris, age 35, who has no bio kids of his own but loves my daugher as his own. My thoughts....this baby is a suprise...scared and nervous...some relationship things to work through...little overwhelmed as I have been single mommy-ing one kiddo for quite some time now....BUT...we are very excited, happy.....and going to therapy regularly..lol.
We still have yet to tell people....so my main thought now is how excited my daughter will be. :)

I'm still spotting, but the turkey made it past the BLEEDING, so spotting is not scaring me so much. I'm gonna go ahead and join, because I have a baby in my head and heart right now and I'm just gonna assume its still in my belly until proven otherwise...
So I'm Charlotte 27 years old (for a few more weeks), due 11/21 with baby #3, the turkey, who will be a suprise. My other two are boys, ages 3.5 and 6. We tried nonchalantly for 19 months to get this one and are THRILLED.

Hi everyone! I just found out yesterday that I'm expecting a Nov babe! This will be mine and DH's third child (fourth pg - had one miscarriage at 12 weeks between the first two kiddos). DH and I are both 31, but will both turn 32 before this baby arrives. Our oldest child is Isaiah and he's 5. He starts kindergarten in the fall. Our current youngest child is Xander and he's 2.5.
My EDD is Nov 23/07, but my two were both born 10-13 days early, so I'm hopeful that this baby will be born by mid-November. My first was a c-section for breech and my second was a successful VBAC and I'm hopeful that this baby will also be a successful VBAC.
We live in Alberta, Canada and we also have three wonderful dogs. I look forward to getting to know you all!

EDD: don't know, I think end of Oct or beg of Nov, which is why I joined both DDCs
I went for a blooddraw today and hopefully they will be able to figure out by the levels and maybe an Usound how far along I am. Although I don't really care that much, she/he'll come out when done, right?
Funny is: we were done having kids, had dh's vasectomy scheduled end of this month. HA! This one snuck in last minute, guess it was meant to be.

We will most likely hospital birth with our midwife, I would LOVE a hb but DH isn't comfortable with it. I am tired a lot now, cranky and loving every second of being pregnant. We'd been trying for just over 6 months.
