anyone have their names picked out yet?
I'm a tad obsessive, we picked out our names while we were TTC (and just recently changed them, LOL)
Boy- Ethan Walter or Ethan Michael
Girl- Isabella Irene

If it's a boy, it will be Vincent. No middle name picked out yet.
No girl names as of yet.
I may just wait until it's born. haha

We have had our names picked out since TTC also. My husband is so frustrating to name babies with since he doesn't come up with any names on his own- he just shoots down the ones I suggest. We have finally agreed on Theodore Magnus for a boy and Harper Claire for a girl. I am not positive about Claire but it is what we will use if I can't find a name my husband likes better.

Not really - I think boy we may go with Al - DH wants Allen AGAIN (my son is Allen III), but I don't think so. However, I would be okay with Al.
For a girl - I'm not really thinking about it yet. It makes me sad because I had a cool girl name picked out for my angel and I'm not going to "re-use" it, but when I consider thinking of girl name is just kind of reminds me of going through that same process less than 6 months ago. I'll get to it later, but I'm not ready yet. I don't know what gender my angel was, but my gut feeling is girl. So I'll have to think of a new girl name for this baby. Maybe Star because that was one I was considering last time but wasn't going to use. Other than remembering that was one of the front runners, I haven't been able to give much thought to coming up with new ideas.

Awww sorry hun!! My angel baby is similar too- no KNOWN gender, but I just KNEW it was a girl and we had named her while I was pregnant too. When my next dd came, people asked if we were going to use my angel's name, but I just couldn't- it was HER name.

I love the name Samuel, but don't think DH would ever go for it. The Hawaiian name for it is Kamuela, which I also love, but we knew a guy with that name in high school so I don't know if DH would go for that either. We'll see. Maybe visiting here will help me move toward thinking of names. :)

We've had a girls name picked out since my first pregnancy (he turns 11 next month :p) For a boy, it will be a big problem. We have a horrible time with boys names. So that won't be dealt with until we get the news.
For a girl (ok, no one use this I made it up :wink) Nianna Pearl Nia is a Celtic name I have just loved forever, Anne was my dh's step g'ma who passed a few years ago. Pearl was my great grandmother's middle name (first name was Alpha, not gonna use that one ) and she was my most important influence growning up, and never got to meet dh or my kiddos.
Boys, who knows, something Celtic probably

DH is set on Benjamin (Benji) for a boy, which is what DD would've been and Elizabeth for a girl. DD was nearly Elizabeth, but we couldn't agree on a nickname. Both of DHs grandmothers were named Elizabeth (Beth & Betty) and my sister is another Elizabeth. I like Libby for a nickname. :) DH says we're done, those are the names, but I say poring over name books is half the fun! :D

Boy- I love Henry but it's nephews middle name. We might go with Owen, Brandon or Brady. The boys names are harder because we used our favorite boy name on DS (James) I also like Ryland but another nephew is ryan and it is too similar.
For a girl I love- Helen Isabel, Rowan Avery (especially if she is red headed, Rowan means red headed one and Avery is Elf leader, or Lauren Aria. Girls names are so fun.

I have a list in my planner that I've kept for years. One side is girl names, one side is boy names. There are a couple dozen on each side!
We tend to like classic and eccentric names, or a combo of the two. I have such a hard time with boy names--even the two dozen I have written down aren't really reaching out and grabbing me yet!
I don't know that we'll have an ultrasound. If we do, we'll see if we can find out. Then I'll start thinking about names!

Sam is our angel's name since we didn't know gender and thought it could go for either Samuel or Samantha.
Our girl name is Hazel Marie. Our boy name is Nicholas Gerald but that one is open for discussion. :)

I have not even allowed myself to "go" there yet... buuut DH has always said randomly that *if* he ever had anotehr boy he would name him Dean.. so I guess a boy would be Dean James
(funny from a guy who NEVER wanted any more kids to NAME one?? WTF ?) sorry sore topic right now!)
girl.. yikes, so many pretty ones, Meredith, Audrey, Amelia, Marina, Charlotte I could go on and onnnnn. Annalise...... love girl names (so far I am a boy factory!) MN most likely Grace B/C it was "thing" with me and my late Mom (I grew fast and tall and was NOT coordinated and she always joked "Your middle name isn't Grace for nothing!1) nice/ funny not mean! ya know, so from when I was young I always swore a girl I would MN Grace, so in honor of my mother, Grace MN

I'm a boy factory too! :lol
And I LOVE girl names, so each time we've found out it was a boy (we HAVE to find out, so we have a few months to figure out names lol) we then spend months arguing and debating over boy names. I like Gaelic, Celtic and/or unique names. Dh, not so much. The really funny one was that with our second son, I really liked the name Hunter, I thought it sounded nice, sorta unique, but not 'wierd' to bother him. He couldn't stand it at all. We named him Connor. When he was older, and we were expecting again, we had just introduced Connor to someone, and they misheard and called him Hunter. And dh looked at me and said Thats it! Thats the perfect name! I nearly killed him then and there lol
At this point, we have no ideas at all for a boy. Also, the two older boys have a grandpa's name for a middle, but we ran out of those already, so would have to come up with two
Fingers crossed for pink I think!

I'm a girl factory, apparently. We only have two girls (no boys) so far, but my mom has four sisters, and my husband has three sisters and no brothers. I've always thought we'd have two girls, followed by two boys, so maybe this is my first boy pregnancy?
Though, of course, we'd be thrilled with a girl, too. It would be easier in some ways--we have all the toys, clothes, etc.

Me too!! When I discovered I was having a girl last time, I was so relieved I would't have to worry about boys' names anymore.
I love unique, but not crazy, names...however, DP is even more unconventional than me. He suggested Hercules for a boy. He must be joking (I hope). I mean, DP is half Greek and all, but HERCULES?
Our agreement was that I get the first name and he gets the middle for a girl, and vice versa for a boy. I am secretly reserving my right to veto anything wacky he comes up with!

It's a toss up on gender for us (well, of course it is) but I have a LOT of girls in my family. My mom has two sisters (frat. twins) and a brother, and of their 14 children, only one is a boy. There are twins in the next generation as well - my cousin has twin girls.
DP has three brothers, and lots of male cousins - and as an aside, his dad was a frat. twin, too - not that it matters for this pregnancy. I will be happy with one healthy baby, or more, of either gender. :lol

We haven't officially started going over names (we just found out yesterday!) but we always throw names back and forth.
With dd - if she was a boy she was going to be Logan Rolly (middle name is dp's dad's name) and for a girl, we had no doubt she would be Madison. We concieved her in Madison, WI :wink . Her middle name Haillee came to me in a dream while preggo but we tinkered with the spelling a bit.
With this baby: boy's names are so tough! I like Lucas, Rowan, Wesley, and Liam but the last one is getting so popular now. Dp comes up with the weirdest names - he wanted to name dd badger if she was a boy :irked: :lol .
For a girl, dp really likes old school names like Lucy, Molly, Charlotte, etc.
We both like Lillian and Ruby. I also really like Kira. He wants to name a girl Naree, which is my middle name but I vetoed it b/c I had enough problems with it just as my middle name!
