Just bought some new diapers!

We CD and I found some AIOs on sale that I've been wanting to try, so I bought a few. I can always justify a sale! :lol I know it's a bit premature to even be thinking about diapering, but CDs are so darn cute, especially in those NB/small sizes. Someone tell me I'm not crazy! :loveeyes:

Not crazy!! :lol I've already bought some fabrics for the baby's dipes, and got some new baby clothes patterns, and going through my yarn stash to make some new soakers. I'm having so much fun getting all of this started early!

I got some bumGenius AIOs...the old style with nylon, not PUL outers. I was wanting a few Bumkins AIOs as that's what DH likes to use, but was having a really hard time with the price. So...I saw the bG's on sale and had to snap some up! The fit seems similar to the Bumkins, so I think he'll like 'em.

I think this time around I'll do mostly prefolds and wool or nylon wraps. I'll probably make some fitteds too. I've got enough fabric! :lol I made Ds's dipes last time around and didn't really like the pattern (poopockets). I've since gotten a snap press and just made an *entire* stash of very babys for a friend and his DW.

Maybe that's why I was so excited to *buy* a few. I'm all "sewed out" for a while (if there's such a word! Ha!)

Ooooh, how I do love teeny tiny diapers!

I'm going to work on sewing up some more wool covers in tiny sizes during this pregnancy. We'll also need to purchase some more PUL covers, since two kids have already been through our stash.

We're mostly a prefold family, and I gotta tell ya, the preemie prefolds are the cutest diapers EVER!

We cd'd for a while and I do miss it, they are just so cute :p. Unfortunatly, our landlords complained about the increased water from laundry, not really sure that was the cause, but couldn't take chances. And at the time dh was home more and hated them. But hopefully we'll be moved by early summer at the latest, so I can go through my stash and see what will be small enough. I know I was given some of those tiny prefolds after the boys were to big, I packed them away, but left a few out to use as travel face-wipers, they are just so tiny and cute.

I'm really drooling the idea of cute lil pink ones though

Well, I am still in the TWW (I think I may have gotten a faint positive this am, but it was hard to see...) I can't stay away from here :lol

Anyway, when DP gave me the green light for TTC I started squirreling baby stuff away. I did not CD dd, and I gave ALL of her other baby stuff away!! So far I have stashed 36 bumGenius 1.0, they were on sale right before the 2.0 came out, 24 IPFs, 12 CPFs, 1 itty bitty BSWW, and 6 bitty Thirsties covers are due to arrive today. And that's just the diapers!!

I've found so much great stuff at children's consignment stores - a moby type stretchy wrap ($5), a travel swing for grandparents house ($20), Avent manual pump ($5.99 new, sealed in box!!), the list could go on...I have really been having fun :)

I almost envy you! If this is another boy, I will be shopping for almost nothing at all. Which is great for saving money, but just not so fun. If its a girl though, whooo hooo, lots to get, cuz I've got all blue! Well, not really, some of the clothes are neutral, but only some. In fact, if we're going pink, my best friend and mom in law will also be going nuts. Mom in law loves to shop and bargain hunter, so I'm guessing she'd be sending lots of stuff

I bought tons of flannel at THANSGIVING for the cloth diapeers/wipes (2$ a yard!) ....now...talk about premature... ;) But, I know this baby is sticky!!!

Speaking of...anyone want to do any swapping of patterns? I'm really needing some crotchet patterns for covers....

I've already bought way too many diapers for this baby (gotta snag the hyena dipes when I can!)...but I didn't start using cloth on ds until he was 5 mths old and into med's, so I have to start a newborn/small stash from scratch - woohoo!!!

Ah, yes...I am glad to see I'm not the only mama obsessed with accumulating cute little diapers!

I started buying nb fluff as soon as we started ttc so I don't think you are crazy at all. I just went through everything and I think I have way more than I need. Oh well, I won't have to worry about running out ,lol
