perhaps i need a little help....

this wednesday, 2.28, i got a very strong and fast positive on a first response home test. trouble is i forgot the exact date of when my last cycle started... it was either sat. 1.20 or sat 1.27... that is when it started.
the day before the test, tuesday i started to realize there were symptons like my chest felt more like my old nursing self, etc...

based on a strong, quick positive and symptons is there a way to guess what week i'd be in? i think maybe 4 or 5?

Hmm- It's hard to say! I got a very faint positive at exactly 4 weeks with this bean, but with DD I got a firm, definite positive at 4w1d. So I think it can really vary.

Before I started writing down my cycles, if I forgot when the previous cycle started I tried to look back at what I had going on around the time I had AF. Usually I can remember something about DH travelling, or MIL visiting, or something to help jog a memory of which weekend it was!

If you can't think of anything, go with the later date so you have a later due date so you don't get pressured into induction ;)

Could be either though I'd probably go with 5. I'm sure your dr will be able to figure it out and help date the pg with an early u/s. I had positives right at 4 weeks, but they were nothing like the one I got at 5 - super dark and very fast.

My last pregnancy I was still nursing and had reallllllly irregular cycles, so they did an ultra sound at where they thought was about 8 weeks. It did adjust me by a week too. So I'd just be honest with them at your appt, they will prob estimate, then adjust later

I would not ask OB they will go with an EARLY due date, thus risking the "over due week 42" thing .... I would give the OB the later date, thus get a later due date and thus another week before "over due" and if the baby is a week "early" GEE how cool.

unless you can think of what was going on in your reality whe AF last visited, and count back that way.......

in teh end, a week doesn't matter much
