Is there something in the water or do I have a Preggy-Dar?

Seriously, seems like since I got pregnant I have seen pregnant mama's EVERYWHERE!

DH and I took DS to this "kidsfest" deal this weekend and I swear it seems like just about every mom there was pregnant!

Anyone else getting this? Just wondering if there is something in the water or if I'm just paying more attention now. :lol

must be a local thing -- I too am seeing either NEW BORNS or preggo moms everywhere too!!!

How was kids fest -- we almost went, but thought it would be too old for Theo and he wouldn't have much to do.....

I had so much fun Friday -- I am sorry we didn't get to talk more.

It was too old for James, not much he could do. They had a bouncy castle and a slide and stuff he is too little for that stuff (IMO) but he got to meet the VeggieTales guys which was pretty much the highlight of his life LOL, oh and Curious George. LOL

It was pretty neat though, DH got James this CD from the VeggieTales that says his name in the songs...don't even want to know how much he spent on it :rolleyes

ETA, I had a blast too! Can't wait to do it again.

To your original post, I'm sure you just are more aware now. I kind of doubt that there are truly more pregnant women than normal. Since we started TTC, I've been much more aware of all the pregnant people and newborns.

We've been noticing them too. I have noticed this in the past as well, as soon as you are aware of them, they pop up everywhere :lol

It may be your perception but it's more likely the season! It's getting warmer most places, people are coming out to play. I imagine that a lot of preg. moms and moms with newborns hole up at home more when it's cold outside, and big, bulky winter coats hide many bulges. Once the weather warms up and the coats come off--surprise, look at all those bumps and babies!!
