alright i place where i can talk about my expericne of dw giving birth to ds and dd. i will try to make both short so you all do not have to sit forever.

first ds born 06-02-01
first baby and it was crazy dw h2o broke 5am. we were very exicted. called our mid wife and told her she came fast. dw was in and out of the birth pool. we were all very tired. it was funny between every contraction we all took a nap.:LOL at last it was time for dinner, dw had not eaten anything but crackers and gatorade. so i made some spaghetti for her. she ate some then :Puke she then took the matter in her own hands. dw wanted to be alone so she could just think and calm down. it worked a half an hour later she started to push. it was so awesome seeing the birth. i was so excited to see ds coming. i know what i am about to say may not be nice or what ever but it is the truth, the first impression i had on ds was that he looked like an alien or a bike rider with one of those banana helmet. i heard about coning but wow. but there he was the greatest thing ever. dw ten had to push for two more hours to deliver the plasenta. wow dw was so great!!!
for dd it was so different i was working dw called me 30 min before got off told me she is ready so i left we called the midwife again fast as can be. we all were expecting another 13 hour labor so here i am getting things ready go to the kitchen while she is getting checked to get dw some water when i came out i asked how far she was midwfie looked at me and said she has started to puch. wow i could not beleive it. at this time ds wakes up i go get him and we both sit and watch dw push in the birth pool. dd was born in the water and it was so beautiful. when ds saw dd he said wooooo. IT WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER!!!!!! again dw did a great job.
both time i could not image the pain dw was going threw and i just wanted to do everything i could to help, which was not much. dw did not want anyone around. i have the upmost respect for women after seeing dw give birth. and after seeing that i am glad men do not give birth and i hope i never get a kidney stone:nono

ok well there is my story enjoy. oh dd was born 04-04-03

How wonderful to get a male perspective here! Thanks so much
for sharing your thoughts.
It's funny b/c I too wanted to be alone with my births. I think
some women just need to focus and zone in on what is
happening and let nature takes it's course. Sometimes too
many people talking and trying to help can actually be a
burden. KWIM?
I'm so happy you have come to MDC and especiall here to the
birth stories forum!
Enjoy your babies and never forget what your wife went
through................:LOL (just kidding)
