Hi! I'm looking for some sort of tribe, but it seems I'm all alone here in Columbus. I have a 4 yr old, a 3 yr old & #3 due in November, not to mention very little support. I would love to support other moms in their endeavors, so if you do exist out there, let me know!!!!

Hi Jennifer! I know how alone you must feel. Dh and I went to Columbus State and lived there for a year before moving back home to Atlanta. It's a whole different world down there, isn't it!? My dad lives there and we visit pretty often. I don't think I've ever seen another slingin' mama there! You don't have a LLL group there either, do you? Bummer. Let's see, I always enjoyed a little health food store/ cafe that was off of Wynnton Road near Lake Bottom. Here is the info for it from a vegetarian restaurant site: Country Life Vegetarian Buffet & Natural Foods - 1217 Eberhart Ave., Columbus, GA 31096-2430. 706-323-9194. I usually found interesting people there, so maybe you could check it out. Also, I believe they have a bulletin board somewhere that you could check out to see if any like-minded mamas are looking for someone like you!
