I am 19 weeks and 1 day. I have been feeling fetal movement since 12/13 weeks LMP. My husband has been feeling fetal movement outside since 17 weeks. The movement we are feeling is very strong - my stomach will move, he feels definite elbows/knees, butt/head, it is not just slight movement or little kicks.
I am in my 4th pregnancy (my last one ended in miscarriage though) and I don't ever remember my husband being able to start feeling movement until well after 20/24 weeks, and it was always just a little kick here or there for a while.
Could fetal movement indicate my being further along than I thought? I now with subsequent pregnancies fetal movement can be felt earlier. But I have never heard of anyone feeling fetal movement outside the womb being so pronounced so early. I am measuring correct for dates though... Just confused about the fetal movement. I'm always feeling the baby move, and anytime the baby is moving it can be felt on the outside.
I have a mw appt. in the next week or two so I will certainly bring this up then, just curious if anyone had felt movement like this as early as I have and not have been further along than anticipated :-)
