I am looking for someone who sews slings for kids, mine are ages almost 2 and 4, respectively, to carry their Waldorf dolls. Or to sew a front pack (a-la Snugli or Baby Bjorn) for them, two identical ones, I guess, or one slightly larger than the other.
Can pay or barter.
TIO for replies.

Do you have a pattern? I don't think I'm good enough right now to sew it, but good luck to you.

Hi--actually dolly slings are way way easy. I haven't actually gotten around to making one, but I could do one in about 30 min (my kids haven't ended up being really into dolls yet). You can just use any kind of craft rings.
A la snugli would be a lot harder, but I've seen a friend's dd with one (from a toy store).
In the sling pattern from Elizabeth Lee there's one for little kids too, but just a rectangle then one end through the rings, etc. Or even just a rectangle that you tie like a scarf would work too. Any options. I could make them if you're interested--I'd just use my kids as models (almost 2 and 3 1/2) and go a bit bigger.

Bekka - yes I sure am interested. I can do some kind of barter or pay with PayPal, or I can send you a check.

Okay, well a few questions then: what sort of time scale are you wanting these? What colors do you like? I don't have access to organic fabric, but I can get all-cotton, etc. in prints or whatever. I would make slings. You can reply here or PM me with details. Or PM me and we'll email with details. Whatever your preference.
