Honestly, I just don't remember because we weren't going to really start trying until May and I wasn't paying that much attention to my cycle.

Hi everyone, this is my first post--I've lurked a lot though.
We are expecting our second child on December 24th! It was totally an accident and the only way this happened if I ovulated way off schedule, needless to say, this was a big surprise.
We have a 2 yr old dd now. We've had a few miscarriages but I've now been diagnosed with a clotting problem, so we're hoping that by taking blood thinners that this baby will be fine.
I'm still having trouble believing I'm actually pregnant and spending much of my time in denial.

This pregnancy came as a shock since I stopped nursing in Feb 07 and never got my period so I went to the GYN and she started me on progesterone to get me bleeding. That didn't work cuz it turns out I was already pregnant!

Pregnancy #: 5 (2nd successful pregnancy - had 3 miscarriages before getting a diagnosis of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome). This is my 2nd pregnancy w/treatment for APS.
Family (partner and/or other children): DH, 19 1/2-month old boy. 3 angel babies who we will always miss and remember. Also, a dog and cat who are part of our family and seem to think they are human.
Plans/Preferences: Most likely a "CBAC", or repeat c-section (was medically necessary last time, and may be medically necessary this time, due to blood thinners). Considering a VBAC. There are advantages to a repeat c-section with my condition. I don't have to decide till the 30-week mark.
Anything else you'd like to share: We did not find out the baby's gender.

Had IUGR and other complications (cord knot, low blood pressure for starters) with DS, but he has pretty much caught up in weight and height and has always met all his milestones. This baby is measuring "on time" so far, thank goodness.

We cosleep, usually until about age 2-3, or whenever kiddo seems to want to sleep alone. NO CIO or spanking. I am a behavior consultant for families with children with autism-I help them set up in-home treatment programs for their children. I only work 10-12 hours per week.

Amity, Faelan is one of my all time favoritefavoritefavorite baby names!! I would absolutely name this baby Faelan whether it was a boy or girl. :heartbeat The only reason I'm not is because I have a friend who's son is named Faelan AND because it's not my husband's favorite.
