Yesterday at my u/s, one of my placentas was diagnosed as stage 3 at 33 weeks... This concern was magnified b/c it appeared that the twin with that placenta also had only half the amount of normal fluid in her sac. I ended up in the hospital for further monitoring and a second u/s. The babies were fine on the monitors and the second u/s showed a normal amount of fluid, so I was released, but now I have to have bpp's twice a week to keep an eye on the situation.
My question is, is there anything I can be doing to help keep this from progressing or is it totally out of my hands??? I totally trust my mw and her back-up ob with this, and don't think they'll push an early delivery or c/s unless it becomes really necessary... but if there's anything I can do to keep it from becoming necessary I want to! I've made it this far with relatively no problems and had started naively thinking that I was in the clear.
Any advice?
