This is driving me crazy. I am still woken up 3-4 (or more) times with an 18 month old, and at the same time, no exaggeration, every 45 minutes at most, I am woken up to use the bathroom. About 3/4 of the times my DD wakes up crying for me, I have to pee so bad that I have to leave her crying in the bed because if i don't I wont make it to the bathroom (which is on the other end of our VERY LOOOONG 2100 SF 1 story house) I'm exhausted all the time now, and its almost silly how much I have to pee. :( If someone runs water, I have to pee, if I look down the hallway from the kitchen at the bathroom, I have to pee, if my DH or DS goes and I see him get up and walk towards the bathroom, I have to pee.

I thought that if I kept drinking and drinking it would get better and my system would balance out. I'm constantly either peeing a hundred times a day or I'm dehydrated to the point that I wake with my mouth stuck together, because my tongue and my lips etc are SOOOO dry :( I've been drinking the standard nettles/RRL/alfalfa tea, but last time alfalfa didnt do this to me. Maybe drinking it instead of pill form made the effects this way?

I dunno. I just know I'm going nuts. I'm afraid to drink because it means I spend half the day peeing and afraid not to because i'm constantly dehydrated unless I get a good gallon of liquid a day.

and... I'm only 14 wks pregnant or so. So much more to go. No idea how I'm going to waddle from one end of the house to the other when I practically run as it is, lol.

I am barely 7 weeks preggers and I get up every 2 hours at night to pee in a bathroom hooked to my bedroom. That's hard enough!

Would you consider getting a potty chair next to the bed just for the night? No one has to know but you and it would help you and your daughter. You can pick them up at medical supply places, yard sales, estate sales, craigslist, etc...

Why doesn't your DP help with your DD? If this were me, I would make my DP go be with my child if I had to leave them crying to pee. My kids would work themselves up that much more if I just left them alone in the middle of the night, making it so much harder to calm them.

About the peeing, I find I can drink as much as I want until about 9pm, then I'll usually stop, or less than 4oz after that time, so I'm not up all night peeing. The bladder issue should get a bit better as your pregnancy advances, but unfortunately, not much(for me anyways!)

My DD sleeps with us, so daddy is with her, but she still gets mad when she wakes up and I desert her. It takes DH a minute or so to wake up enough to take care of her, but I just don't have the time to stay with her until he's fully awake so there's like a 2-3 min space between when I get up and he gets her settled enough to stop crying. Although on the positive side, she seems to go back to sleep better for him. Maybe I should start sleeping in the bathtub. hmmm :)

Its just driving me nuts because I am sooooo tired all the time. I cant stand the lack of sleep. Yesterday I fell asleep in the computer chair twice and it was the only 2 times I tried to get on the computer all day.

I'm going crazy. I hope this curbs off at some point or I don't know how i'm going to make it till the end, ugh. Wouldn't be so bad if my DD didnt wake up a bunch too, but between the bathroom trips and taking care of my DD it is really rough.

The idea of a potty-chair is a good one. You will also be able to get to sleep again faster, because running through the whole house to find the bathroom really wakes you up. Just hopping on the chair and going back to bed would be less of an interuption.

I also limit my liquid intake after about 9 p.m. and that usually helps. I also cannot drink tea or coffee in the evening, because it drives my bladder - overdrives it actually. :) So in the evening I mostly have water.
