Hi ladies!! I just found out this morning I belong here!!! I am due 12/24 but I am always about 5 days late so I may have a New Year's baby!

Anyway, while I was TTC DH was on/off the bandwagon. Some days he wanted another baby other days he got stressed about money and such. So how do I tell him? I know he is going to get a little stressed out at first but then be fine (as he did with the other two).
Because of previous pregnancies being a complete shock I've never had the chance to really make a big deal about telling him.
Any suggestions?

The kids will be asleep when he gets home tonigh and I want to tell him then.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

I don't know!
Maybe wrap up the test in a box and give it to him like a gift?

I wish I had told my dh in a nicer way, I called him on his cell phone at work :lol

That's what I did last time and he was not happy about that. I even told him the test was negative this morning so he wouldn't have a stressful day.

I am making him a steak dinner and then I'm going to show him the test. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Maybe when you bring his plate to him put just the test on the plate instead of food?

good luck and CONGRATS!!

Well yesterday afternoon DH father got into a car accident. He's ok but DH went to see him after he got off work. I fell asleep before he got home. So this morning while we were lying in bed with the kids, I just took his hand and put it on my belly. He figured it out. And now he is stressing out hardcore. I just let him rant and made his lunch for him and took the kids on a walk while he was getting ready. I'm sure by the end of the day he will have worked it all out and will be excited. Thanks for the support!

Just crashing your DDC from August to give you a :hug

I was super stressed out about how to tell DH, because we had to travel to the US in December (when I found out) because his father was dying. DH resigned his job here in Costa Rica, and I just thought it was going to be stressful and he would be upset. (we weren't supposed to be TTC right then, but there was a miscommunication between us and voila! our baby boy is cooking!)

So, his father passed before I got a chance to tell him (I wasn't there yet, and didn't want to tell him on the phone). The night I got into town, we made love in front of the fire, and he says, honey, your bbs look bigger. I said, they probably are. Turns out he was really happy about it, and has been much more excited about this pregnancy than he was with DD.

I hope your DH comes around and gets excited about your new one too! Having a crochety DH during pregnancy isn't much fun ... I know!

:hug
