Is anyone interested in started a local homeschool co-op for AP kids?

I thought we could do learning field trips etc... Perhaps get a space for weekly activities / learning reading or play??

Just a thought. I know Spryte has mentioned this previously. Also perhaps we could tap the knowlege of our current tribal homeschoolers?!

PS wanted to say we are 'all' homeschooling NOW. So, any age/situation is welcome!

I will likely be homeschooling come fall. I am already part of a Waldorf inspired homeschoolers group...local folks. If anyone would like info, please let me know. Still, time permitting, I would love to join you all in field trips and the like!

Here is a good curriculum resource if you are considering homeschooling: www.live-education.com

I have lotsa lotsa info. for holistic based education. Just ask!

Field trips sound fun. Perhaps we could plan some too?

Looking forward to exchanging ideas. As of now I'm unschooling, although that could change :wink

Did anything ever come from this?

I unschool my 3.5-year-old.

Ya, what's the deal with this thread? I'd be totally interested provided there were some older kids involved and not just toddlers. My kid is 9 and will be homeschooled for the first time this fall........leaning more toward unschooling.
