We live in Crestview. How old are your little ones? I have an almost 4 year old and a 1 year old (girls).
There are so many wonderful things to do here!

Oh wow! I have an almost 4 year old little girl and an 18 month old son:) It would be great to get together:) To think, I've been visiting my mother-in-law for years and never new this site was here - a great way to connect with other mommies:)

We usually don't do very much in Crestview:( I would love to hear what's available in the are!

Crestview itself is not so great...a nice park and that's about it. BUt once you get down to Niceville or Fort Walton there is lots to do. Not that the kids need any entertainment other than each other :)
What a great way to get out of your MIL's house for awhile!

Hi Larissa!

We'll be in Crestview sometime between July 7th and 15th. I'm not sure if we'll be there the first half of our trip or the last. It's funny - I didn't even know Crestview had a park:) We usually go down to the beach one day (and the other days we sit around the house). It would be nice to get out and go to the park:) I'll be sure and let you know when we firm up our plans.

I just moved back. I went to high school in FWB and my parents live in Niceville. I was away for about 8 years and we moved back a couple of months ago.

Wow, my mom and dad live in Niceville, too! They live right near the Mid-Bay bridge. We really like to go to the Nature Walk---it's a creek that they've made a board walk and swimming area--Turkey Creek, maybe? My parents have lived there for over 5 years, and the last time we were there--I hardly recognized it with all the development!! I'll have to check in here the next time we'll be making a trip down to see them!

Hi Amy! Where are you in GA? My parents live in AL and we just finished a week with them (I felt like it was monsoon season). Althought today was a beautiful day. We always fly into Atlanta, and then drive to my parents' house.

I'm here just outside Atlanta. Apparently, our drought is over. I'm thinking of building an ark! I think we're going to spend a week in Niceville toward the end of the summer--I'd like to post here and see if I might be able to meet up with some great mamas (and small folk) :)
