DH got Complex Rock tour on DVD for his b-day and while we knew we were geeky enough to love - we didnt figure the kids would beg to watch it!

DW and I :love :throb BMG. About a month and a half before DS was born, we had a vacation voucher worth $500 that was going to expire, so we decided to go to Vegas for the weekend. We used the voucher to stay at the Mirage, and while there, we went and saw BMG live at the Luxor. A. May. Zing!

Totally love them. I've got their albums Audio and The Complex in heavy rotation on my iPod. (Though I have to skip "Exhibit 13" every time it comes up, it makes me too melancholy. Its a tribute to the 9/11 victims, and in performance, they show video of papers found in the streets of NYC after the WTC buildings collapsed. The name "Exhibit 13" comes from a legal document that was found with that at the top of the page :gloomy:)

DS loved the concert too ... he jumped around in DW during the music, and now he loves their stuff - he likes music with heavy bass.

I've seen them twice, they are awesome!
The second time me and my sisters brought our mom (age 78) with us.
The Blue Men picked her to come up onstage and did a skit with her where she had to unwrap the twinkies and feed it to them. They made her wear this vest thing and I knew something was going to happen. Well, all of a sudden this banana puree stuff came shooting out of the vest and sprayed all over the place. My mother was laughing hysterically.

My sisters and I almost ruptured ourselves, we were laughing so hard. What fun, I tell ya!

Saw them off-Broadway in the theatre on Astor Place when it opened, maybe late '80s? 1990? something like that. It was when I lived up the street, so that was late '80s through early '90s ... Was wonderful, wild theater.

I love them. DH and I saw them in Vegas, 5-6 years ago, I need to get their music.
