sigh

until now, it was just horrible, constant nausea. Had my first actual vomiting last night. :Puke

the vitamins definitely provoked it. I was hoping they wouldn't...but they did. (rainbow light once daily)

So not looking forward to this.

somehow, I was able to put the hyperemesis out of my mind.....now I'm thinking I was crazy to ever get pg again...what could I have been thinking?? :dizzy:

Anyone else at the vomiting stage ???

Hi-

Sounds bad bobandjess99 ... :Hug....How many weeks did you experience hyperemesis for during your first pregnancy? I noticed that I only had a bit to eat and a cup of green tea prior to taking my vitamins yesterday. I am going to try something else today. I feel really guilty but on more than one occasion a milky coffee (in Germany it is called a "milchkaffee", half milk and half coffee) has really settled my stomach). I didn't have any nausea with my first pregnancy but I have been on the verge of vomiting for about three weeks with only two actual incidences. Last weekend we were riding our bikes to a street fest when a bug flew straight down my throat and excreted his/her bug butt juice. I had to jump off my bike so fast and run to the nearest patch of greenery. Then, yesterday, I vomited upon waking. I am hoping that this doesn't progress any further.

THAT would make me vomit no matter what!

So for those throwing up, do you feel much better afterwards? If so, for how long?

No vomiting yet, but I do get nauseous if I don't eat at regular intervals. Also, I need to take my vitamin on a full stomach. (Rainbow Light - 3x daily) I'd love to take the once daily, but my body doesn't absorb vitamins well.

One of the vomiters here too. I can barely stomach thinking about food sometimes. Last night dh made him and the kids hotdogs (barf on its own) and tater tots I ate some tots and they went down really easily then for like an hour or two later my gut was just hurting then it came up, twice. I never want to see tater tots again in my life. There are so many foods I've liked that I can't face again. And thinking about them right now has me on the edge as well.
I never went through this with my other pregnancies. As bad as it is, I've been worried about m/c cause I have before. As hard as vomiting is and has been, its putting my mind at easy a little that this is a very viable pregnancy.

Last time I had HG from 4 weeks to 23 weeks, with the worst peak from about 9-12 weeks. I lost over 30 pounds and went down like 3 sizes in clothes. It was horrible. At this point, what is working the best is eating a lot all the time. I have to eat a full meal every 90 minutes or so, or I get sick. The tea I'm drinking actually seems to help, it is a pregnancy blend i make myself with RRL, oatstraw, alfalfa, nettles and...something else, I think, I can't remember, LOL!

Today has been decent so far, and i have a .....*bag over head* DQ Mothers Day ice cream cake waiting for me to eat it!!
I also have groceries to put away...ugh, is there anything worse that grocery shopping when you hate the sight of food?
