Hmong or married to a Hmong

Anyone Hmong or married to a Hmong person? My husband is Hmong from Thailand, I'm not- but we live a pretty traditional Hmong life style.

I'm not Hmong, but I live in Thailand -in the northeast. And I used to volunteer at a school in Chiang Mai where the students were all from hill tribes, mostly Hmong and Lisu.

Not much of a connection I know!

I'm not, nor is my husband, but I know some really interesting Hmong people from Laos. One fought with General Pao and another runs a nonprofit for Hmong women.

They have amazing stories!

Just FYI Saveur magazine, which I read yesterday has a long article on Hmong culture and cuisine this month.
