Is anyone else a bundle of homones and exhaustion? I am barely 6 weeks preggo and feel like I am losing my mind. I'm snappish, crabby, weepy, and just "needy" right now, and I am driving myself nuts. Hubby has been away a lot with work, we are moving across the country soon, and my DD is an awesome, but demanding, 14 mos. and I really don't know how much more of this I can take. If I didn't get my naps in when DD slept... eek!
Does anyone have any advice on dealing with the roller coaster while also being a parent? We had a m/c with our last pg, so we aren't "telling" anyone yet except close family, so I feel like I have no way of explaining away my behaviour--but this means I can't ask many people for help, either. Suggestions, empathy, or even some shared misery would be so appreciated right now!:dizzy:

I'm right here with you. :hug I've been tired, cranky, and generally in a funk. My only advice is to hang in there and give yourself a break. Your body is going through giant changes. Things should smooth out soon.

Yep me too, cranky on and off and majorly exhausted. Actually I had a major flip out about 2 wks ago and now dh is helping with the housework MUCH MORE, taking care of dd tons so I can float around doing stuff or have a second to myself.....bless him. Today we were at the park and a cute old Chinese couple were walking by. We have many, many Chinese neighbours in our condo complex and many have mentioned with sadness that they could only have one child.......(you know, the one child rule in China?).....well this old man was gazing at my daughter with such wistfulness, you could see he was imagining himself with a little child, the longing to play, etc.......he walked away and I started bawling! Dh just chuckled at me. :lol Ahhh hormones. :) Fortunately the crankiness has lightened a bit for the past week. Phew!

Oh totally! I'm moving in 2 days, and I don't ahve the energy or mental strength to pack up my kitchen. It's so frustrating not knowing when I'll be able to function and when I'll wanna curl into a ball and cry.
