New here! (and living in Amsterdam)

What a surprise -- meeting you folks (i.e. the Dutch MDC tribe) in front of the melkhuis last Thursday (Sarah: here is my playing back to you...:"what else have you not told me :wink :wink ).

Here I am, just wanting to say hi:
I am AP mom to 4-year old Felix and 6-month old Julia, and we live in Amsterdam - Oud West. Extended nursing, cosleeping, babywearing, elimination communicating (with Julia), and not yet (but trying to get DH on the boat to) homeschooling....

Looking forward to joining into the activities on this board!

P.S.: I am German by birth and mother tongue, DH is from the U.K., DS was born in Canada (my country of choice) where we lived for 8 years prior to coming to Amsterdam last year, and DD is an Amsterdammertje.

Krissie: Quick answer: my husband's work. Say, a carier (sp?) opportunity, and both of us were ready for a change, for a little while (him being tired of his previous job, and me wishing to spend more time with the "babies", and being able to be physically closer to the grandparents in D and the U.K.).
