So far, this babe has survived chicken pox and an intense tummy bug (or caused an intense tummy bug.) Around the time of the implantation spotting, I was feeling so nauseous I couldn't stand up, desperate to throw up and even blacked out a couple of times. We got to the point of saying "well, maybe it's just as well we missed this cycle" and then got the first faint line at 10dpo. With that ability to cause havoc, I think this one's got a chance of making it, but I'm taking things one day at a time.

I reinterpreted my chart last night and think that my DD is January 28, which means I will probably be hanging around in this thread, too. My first was 17 days after DD!

ME!
I had a VERY light positive on an aimstick on Thursday morning
(actually at 2 am after a dream that I was pregnant woke me up!)

Turned out it was my last aimstick and I wanted a darker line before I could believe it.

Took a first response test Friday morning but it was negative.... so I waited. UGH... I hate waiting.

Then took the other test in the box this morning and there it was clear as day :+

I am basing EDD on what now appears to be conception date as my cycle was really messed up this month. So 2/2 looks to be it for me!

I might be pregnant and due 02/11/08.

I have will not know until I can test 06/04/07 or after.

I could be psychosomatically feeling pregnant.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can be a part of this tribe.

Congrats to all that are so far.

Oh, Elizabeth, I'm crossing my fingers for you. I have to say, this time I KNEW from the word go, so I'm a big believer in intuition. Babe was conceived on Eurovision night, so she's going to be called Serbia :lol
Look, ladies, you know my history- every time I've PMed a mod to ask for a DDC, that pregnancy ended early. Can someone else do it please?
Theresa, I am SO chuffed to be pregnant with you again- I've missed you so much this last year. I'm glad you reminded me that Woody was late, I've been meaning to go and search our old threads :bag I'm actually toying with the idea of twice-weekly stretch-and-sweeps to try and get this one out by 41 weeks.
Strawberryfields, I'm bouncing about being pregnant with you too :bouncy I wouldn't get excited though- my first went to 43.5 weeks, then my second was born at 37.5 weeks and I assumed that Skye would come early too- instead I spent a month in prodromal labour hell :lol She's so worth it though.
Isn't it great that so many of us have older babes the same age as well?
aslmere, it's great to see you here. :hug

Wow, you got a BFP today? I got a really faint one on an aimstick and I'm guessing we have the same cycle because my EDD is 2/6 as well. I saw a lot of 2/2 due dates and I felt lonely for a moment there. :o

DONE!!!

Anyone else quesy???? I swear it started within an hour of seeing those two lines and it hasn't let up all day.
I tried to drink some of DH's gatorade and it just got worse.

So either I am scared and freaking out inside.. or starting to feel this baby!

Other than that I don't feel pregnant yet.
I talked myself out of believing that the first test was accurate.
I should have known not to doubt one of my dreams!
This is the third (out of four) pregnancy of mine that I knew to test becuase of a dream.

I'm tired, tired, tired from about mid-morning on! I've been trying to sneak in cat naps with Woody in the afternoons, but I'm still hitting the sack at about 9 p.m. It is reassuring, and feels so wonderfully familiar--I have such fond memories of napping away long stretches of the afternoon when I was last pregnant! :shy To me, napping makes time seem irrelevant, which is a blessed feeling when there's so much WAITING to do.

But being tired is my only symptom so far.

I'm Kate. I'm probably due the first or second of February. I won't know for sure for a while since I find no reason to go to the mid-wife until 11 or 12 weeks. My 2 1/2 year old was born on her due date.

I got a positive Friday, but I could smell it Wednesday.

I don't really do nausea. I get really tired and hungry. I also try to pass out a lot which might be more annoying than throwing up really, but it doesn't happen all that often.

For those who are still nursing, is your milk supply still as it was? Skye is down to twice a day now, sleeping through the night and is fussing over her morning boobies. Bedtime seems to be mostly comfort nursing to help her get to sleep. I'm happy for her to wean, if this is what she wants, but I really hope that if she weans then this one's a keeper- does that make sense?

I am not nursing this time. But I was with both # 2 and #3.
Lianne stopped nursing when I was about 16 weeks with Conor. Conor stopped when I was about 12 weeks. My milk totally changed both times. In fact Conor was still 100% nursing and he started losing weight because I couldn't support both him and the baby fully. That was scary...Conor is now 100% tube fed because he won't/can't eat orally and I am sooo glad that he was able to at least nurse for that first year.

It does make sense to think that. I am sending :sticky thoughts your way!

It is still so early that I am scared of this baby not sticking.
I have never had that particular loss, but I do know what loss is. I am feeling like the baby is supposed to help me heal more.
But I am also so scared that I don't deserve to have another chance.
So many happy and scary things about this pregnancy.

I still don't quite believe it and took another test this morning.. a digital one. It said "pregnant"

My milk supply is normal and ds is still nursing like crazy. I am so anxious about what will happen when I lose my milk. On one hand I am really ready to have a relationship with ds OUTSIDE of nursing. I see him run and play and laugh with others and I want to join but if I try all he wants to do is nurse :( but OTOH since he loves nursing so much I want him to be ready, too.

I have a feeling I'm going to be tandem nursing.

My milk is still there it was actually up quite a bit but now it just seems normal Dd is fussing alot at the boob which I think is a mix from her cutting her molars and her ears bothering her again :(. I am looking forward to tadem nurisng BUT I am trying to find some other kind of milk for her to have nutrients wise for when my milk is gone though I will still encourage her to nurse w/ just colostrum. She is a MAJOR boob girl so I don't think we'll have a problem.

Just me then? :( This is actually the furthest I've ever nursed- Alex gave up at 17 mos when I was pregnant with Isaac, and Isaac gave up because I was crawling out of my skin at that point (and still struggling with PND 16 months after his birth.) I'm going to try drinking more water, but if this is it, this is it.

Welcome Lora :)

I was hoping to find some this morning at Fred Meyer...but no luck in either the regular or the natural sections.

I was trying to see when my m/s kicked in last time, but not finding it, decided not to dedicate any more energy in that direction--I'm just going to enjoy feeling good!

I can't tell what's happening with my milk. How do y'all know? Do you pump? Or do your dc let you know somehow? Woody has been asking for the other boob a lot more latey, like maybe the one boob isn't providing what he's used to...

Anyone having any really good symptoms yet? :( I just hit week 4 and so far all I am is tired and really bitchy!!!!! Last pregnancy didn't get any symptoms at all and turned out to be a blighted ovum. I am trying so hard not to stress but I feel like I am spending my whole day worrying and trying to make some symptoms appear. (Last time doc said the more symptoms the better the chance it may stick.)

Also DH said a really crappy thing to me today so I have been hiding in my room all day for fear I may kill him. (He used the "D" word. :cuss divorce) Guess he's not handling the mood swings any more than I am.

But anyways back to the question at hand. How long did it take for any of you to get symptoms? I hate to admitt it but I want so badly to wake up and have to immediatly make out with my toilet. It's been over 5 years since I was last pregnant and for some reason I really can't recall how long it took me.:shrug

I started having sore breasts (they feel like they are full of milk) a little over a week ago with some nausea. With each pregnancy my symptoms get a little worse. I have also been a little bitchy and really tired and also getting a charley horse. Anyone else get those?

Also DH said a really crappy thing to me today so I have been hiding in my room all day for fear I may kill him. (He used the "D" word. :cuss divorce) Guess he's not handling the mood swings any more than I am.

I have to say that my dh and I had the hardest time when we were pregnant with baby #2 early on, the d word was used alot. I think there is alot more transition with #2 than alot of people expect. I would suggest to try to keep open minds and acknowledge each other's feelings as truth and talk them out. Good luck!!!:hug

Anyone having any really good symptoms yet? I have felt "funny" for about a week now but started having actual symptoms twoish days ago. I have been grumpy too, also slightly nauseas if I eat too much or wait too long to eat. My nipples are killing me. My uterus is very active? Maybe I just have gas? I don't really know how to describe it but I am very aware of my uterus and it feels like early fluttery kicks (I know it isn't fetal movement!) MAybe my uterus is a little irritable but it isnt' cramps. So any way I have a nice set of early symptoms but nothing terrible yet thankfully!! I think it is totally normal to not have symptoms until 6 week and a friend just had a baby and didn't even know until 16 weeks, she had no symptoms!!

I am starting to contact midwives now and I just scheduled a visit in July with my family practice doctor. I don't plan on really starting up visits right now since there isn't much to do but I want to start calling around. I'm probably going with a different midwife than I did with my last pregnancy so I have to go through the interview process again, and since I don't know how many clients they take each month I want to secure a contract right away.

If I already had a midwife selected I'd probably call and give her a heads up, sign the contracts and plan on seeing her in a couple months.

The antenatal booking visit over here starts at 8 weeks- dh and I talked about it and he's insistent that I get myself in "the system" as soon as possible so if I lose this one, there's more support for us. Personally, I think he's being overly optimistic.
I had a panic yesterday because I felt less nauseous and stayed awake until a whole 10.30 pm :dizzy: Wild living, huh?

I don't have any real symptoms either Carlito's_wife. A little dizzy, boobs have been hurting. Other than that not much. I think that every pregnancy is different. With one I had morning sickness with the other I didn't. I don't think that is really true that the more symptoms that you have that the stickier the baby is. Everyone and every pregnancy is different.

I'm going to wait a few months before contacting the mw, too. I think I'll need that long to feel like the babe's here to stay, and to figure out the who/when/where/how of the birthing. Meanwhile I'm taking my prenatals, doing my yoga and kegels, and sending lots of love inward! Oh, and I just ordered Birthing from Within from the library. That should keep me busy for a while :).

I'm actually feeling hesitant about prenatals. In one of Pat Thomas's book, she mentions that there's a link between folic acid supplementation and elevated miscarriage rates, and I haven't yet had a chance to check out the study she references. For now, I'm taking them- but it's given me one more thing to worry about. To date, this has proven to be indestructa-baby, but I worry that I'm pushing my luck.
Do I get the record for first barf of the DDC? We went to pizza hut for lunch, tasted OK, and then came home and threw up copiously :Puke I can't honestly say I'm feeling better, either.
Jen, here's hoping that things are OK for you and it's just a bumped cervix or something :fingersx:

I LOVED Birthing From Within. FABULOUS book!
I read it with my last birth and it really helped me come to terms with my feelings about birth and the successes and limitations of my body.
I had a hopsital birth, but I felt successful.
Yes, there were things that I would like to have changed...like being induced at 42 weeks.... but in the end it was MY birth and I was happy.

This does happen a lot to me. I am not allowed to do the deed after 12 weeks and so dh and I take advantage of those few weeks beforehand . And with an already irritable cervix it does cause spotting. Just take it easy today.. and try a different position next time. *afraid of tmi*

symptoms well today I am 5 wks.. whoo hoo!!! And MS has hit me.. yesterday I had a headache and ear ache too and I think the headache was from my ears hurting.. not sure why they don't hurt today. :dizzy: But I felt icky all day and was grouchy. I have to eat something every couple hours or I get nauseous and water and sprite are my best friends right now. I think I saw some sea bands at Safeway so i am going to invest in some of those too to see if they help. Seems to hit me mid afternoon and then right around dinner time. Blah but today is ok so far. * knock on wood it stays that way*

I have an appt June 8 for paperwork and stuff with the midwives/OB covered under my insurance. I will be 10 wks on 4th of July so hopefully I can get in before or right after that.

Dh knows from last pregnancy that I can be a bear and I just have to remind him of all the hormones and changes going on with me and to just let me be and not take it personally.

Flapjack let us know what you find out about the folic acid. I am taking supplement and like everyone here I don't want to take any chances!

Only symptoms so far are fatigue and bloat. Last time MS hit like a Mack truck at 6 weeks, so I'm enjoying my food while I can.

I had a touch of pink spotting on the day my period was due, but nothing since. No big thing, right?

I am thinking about my midwife choices. I'm fortunate enough to have two birth centers and a practice of homebirth midwives in my area, but I'm not sure who to go with.

No more spotting - I've just been keeping a very low profile today and staying off my feet as much as possible. Thank you so much for asking :)

Symptom-wise, I am very tired, have some bloat going on, sore breasts, and some mild nausea. I definitely am having some aversions to refined sugar so I'm just going with that. I've been a bit crazy the past few weeks with mood swings and I too am waiting to hear back from Flapjack about the Folic Acid - I haven't gotten around to getting prenatals yet and I was going to start taking at least my b-complex again to help with my mood and stopped when I read Flapjack's bit.

I still haven't decided on a care provider yet - I may go with the OB I had last time and just be ready to fight him for the birth I want when the time comes. The spotting this morning has made me a bit jumpy and I want to be covered soon.

From what I've read so far, there's not enough evidence or research to support any concerns with folic acid: and Pat Thomas herself hypothesized that perhaps the folic acid encouraged an unviable pregnancy to end gently and early in the first trimester, rather than being identified on an early (12 week) scan and then medically managed- the studies I found were flawed. So I'm back on the pregnancy multivitamins, and I'll apologise now for scaremongering.
Jen, glad to hear you're doing better.

So we don't even have a DDC open yet and I already have our names picked out! :lol I knew I wanted these names as soon as we started TTC but dh was against them. Well, tonight he broke the news that since they mean so much to me, he is game! So it looks like in January or February we'll be welcoming either Charlotte Jane or Rory James. :D I'm not *thrilled* with Jane but it's a family name, as is James. But I couldn't be happier about having a little Charlotte or Rory join our family!

In other news, I totally bought some baby outfits today :bag: and not only were they baby outfits, but they were girl outfits. We were trying Shettles for a girl and of COURSE I will be overjoyed to have another little boy join the family, but if it IS a girl I want to be READY with some sweet girly outfits right away! With ds we went the unisex route and of course we still have all his newborn boy things too that can be re-used if it's another boy. I'm not going to go crazy and everything I bought today was second hand. So tonight I put the unisex clothes in the dresser and made a tote of "boy" newborn clothes and a tote of "girl" newborn clothes so we will be prepared either way!

I'm so excited!

Hi! I do alot of lurking at MDC. It's so big I'm usually just content to read but we just found out I'm pregnant. Woohoo. I thought I'd post. I have 2 boys 3, and 16 months both had non-genetic cleft palates. We're on a high folic acid protocol with our midwife and extensive stress relief for the first trimester. DS2 was a beautiful homebirth and I'm looking foward to the same thing this time around. Nice to meet you all.

I have plenty of yellow, green and blue but just in case I want to have a little pink and purple standing by to add to the rotation! :D This might be our last pregnancy/last baby and since I got to do the tiny newborn boy clothes the first time I'm hoping to get to use some teeny girl clothes this time.

I've been waiting forever for the Feb. DDC to open!

I'm due 2/2/2008, but my people tend to go early, so who knows.

My first appt with the midwife is next Friday - I'll be 6 weeks. Have to get in as soon as possible cause their calendars fill up quicky and I didn't want to miss out. I love my midwife!

Swore my boobs stopped hurting last night and took another test. Very dark positive, so that makes me happy. My symptoms are pretty mild right now, but definitely getting the hangover-type queasiness in the morning. And I'm forgetting *everything*! I am soooo spacey, I can't stand it. :dizzy:

I am with you, I wish I would have morning sickness! I am about 5 weeks...with my other 3 I guess it hit about 6.5-7 weeks. I have a history of miscarriage though and with all of those pregnancies did not have any morning sickness, the others I was so sick with. So, I am hoping (even though it sucks) to get morning sickness soon. My midwife told me that it means my pregnancy hormones are nice and high.

Congratulations to all of you!

Usually more of a lurcker but I can't resist joining a club. I am due with #3 Feb. 3rd. My other 2 were both born Jan. 19th so you can tell when my fertile season is.
My boys are 6 and 8 so it has been awhile and I am around babies all day long. We own a biz with pregnant mamas and new babies always coming in and I teach childbirth am a doula etc. Still this feels VERY unreal to me that I am the one having the baby this time. (Plus tons of pressure to do it "right")
Anyways, we are super excited and I am glad to join you.

Just found out on Monday I am pregnant with baby #4 My last three pregnancies have ended in very early miscariage. Emotionaly drained from that. All in 1 years time. I had my blood levels checked on Tuesday wich would have been 2 weeks from conception. Progesterone was 1/2 what they expect at a low 7.9 and HCG was ok at a 17.8 Had the test done again today to see if levels where progressing. The doc said they should have double in 48 hours. Good news for me, they tripled. now at 80 Doc said a very good sign. They have me on progesterone supp. 3 times a day. It makes me hungry. Feeling tired and very nautious. Every time I puke I find myself saying Praise the Lord. Puking is a good sign.

Hopeing this board will be as supportive as my mothering DDC was with my 2nd back in 2004. You guys seem like a great bunch. Looking forward to corresponding with all of you.

Sticky vibes going out to all who need it right now.

I might be here. I am going to take a test on Tuesday. But I think I am. I have had 3 people tell me that I am pregnant. My mom called me to tell me I was pregnant and it was a boy. The strange thing is...she has been able to tell that my sis and I were pregnant each time and exactly what the sex was....and she was never wrong....she's 4/4.

I have been pretty queasy this week and feeling really tired...almost drained and I'm about 2 weeks late.

Don't feel bad. I could totally miss the first trimester. (And nearly did with my 2 1/2 year old.) I'm hungrier than normal, tireder than normal and I have to use the bathroom every 30 minutes. No sore breasts, no nausea. I can get light headed and fainty, but it's pretty easily avoided.

The only symptoms I'm having are sore boobs. It startd out feeling like a "phantom let-down", sort of like phantom pains that amputes sometimes have in the limb that is missibng. I haven't had any milk in years, so it was kind of odd, and at first it only hit when I was around babies or thinking about babies. Then it got worse and was finally so bad I felt I was going to go crazy if I didn't pee on a stick.

I'm eating good, even if I have lost a bit of interest in cooking. I'm a complete bundle of energy running on four hours of sleep at the moment. Both of those things are abnormal for me, since I can get horrible m/s and turn into a heap on the couch that is constantly sleeping except when I have to work or sleep. My m/s with Phoenix was so bad that I weighed as much the day before she was born as I did the day she was conceived, since I lost so much weight during the first trimester.

A symptom that has ben 100% reliable for me in the past and much earlier than a :bfp or a missed :af is that the smell abnd taste of coffee and cigarettes become horrifically repugnant. I indulged in both vices when I was pg with the first set of kids, and remember how miserable I was forcing myself to continue indulging with ds until I was ready to tell exy.

The day before I tested, I was helping some friends move and their coffee smelled delightful; I regretted not having any and consoled myself that :af was due in three days and I'd treat myself to a nice cup when she arrived.

It took me a bit longer to find a smoker to sniff, but there was one outside the store when I went to get my hpts and I almost turned right around and went back home again because it smelled quaint and pleasant and did not make me gag or feel like I was going to throw up at all.

Oh well, I guess this kiddo is already aserting her individuality; I've never been able to test this early before (you used to HAVE to wait until you were two weeks late and then find a safe, stable place to leave the tst sitting for several hours before you could try to figure out if you saw a cuircle in the mirror under the test tube) but I have had symptoms I couldn't ignore before I missed a period.

Well, if anyone wants some nausea and vomiting, let me know. I think I've got enough to share ;)
Seriously, I have this adorable ritual that I eat lunch, sit down, throw up. I could SO live without this right now. For me, it doesn't necessarily follow that sickness = sticky, either.
The good news (bad news) from my point of view is that my GP is flatly refusing to take my EDD by ovulation and insisting on going by LMP. A difference of a whopping 3 days- big big deal. That does mean that if I choose to like those dates, I'm no longer due on the anniversary of my miscarriage with the twins, and I'm at 5 weeks and a few days rather than 4 weeks and lots of days. She's agreed (in theory) to refer me for an 8 week scan as well.

Just posted in another thread on this forum before I read this one, thinking that you *had* to be pregnant to post :o . I'm only a day late, but this is when ds was concieved 3 years ago, and we started trying again this month. I've been tired lately and getting up to pee at night (which hasn't happend since ds ...)
I have the test. It's sitting in the bathroom. I'm just suppppper nervous. I think I'll take the test with DP this weekend.

I JUST got a positive result this moringing!

Its sooo early, but I can't help being so excited. I have told all my family and my close friends.

So, we concieved while we were on vacation in Italy! I went with my mother and my husband to europe for two weeks, and Italy was our last destination. We were in a small town called Desenzano, where my mom and dad used to take me when I was small. (my dad was in the Airforce) My mom stayed out later one night and told us we could have some privacy in our hotel room to "start working on her grandbaby." Well that was May 21st, I think.

I have been waiting to see if AF came... but I could not wait any longer and I ran out and got a First Response test, and it came back positive. Even with a short LP! THE FIRST MONTH OF TTC! :lol wow.

I hope everything will be good - this is my first time ever being pregnant.
I'm 31 now, and will be 32 in December.

I started to wonder if I was pregnant when I was getting sick feeling on the the plane back to the U.S... I have never gotten airsickness before. And then my breasts were really sensitive too... more than normal pms. Well, I just feel so lucky! I hope the plane ride so early on did not cause me any problems.

I'm still trying to get used to the idea of being pregnant, and a soon-to-be mother..... Its sooo early on, I just hope its a sticky! And for all of you too!

Alright, all you expectant mamas, I've read the past few pages and think I'm all caught up. You all seem like wonderful mamas, and I hope to be able to enjoy a pregnancy with you. Jezzy and SarahN, I lurked the TTC pages and was so excited to hear about your BFPs, and now I can't belive that I might be joining you with my own!

This is my (hopefully) second pregnancy, and although I am only 9dpo, I tested today because I read on MDC about some other mamas who got a positive this early. Normally, I would have been fine waiting to test, but I really "feel" pregnant, if that is possible for this early. You guys were talking about intuition and I just feel like I sense this baby. (OMG I hope I'm not wrong).

Anyway, this afternoon I just took a First Response test, and got the faintest possible second line. It's so faint, that I want to be honest and say that I could easily be imagining it just because of "feeling" pregnant and being so excited about baby number 2. But anyway, I will definitely test again in the morning, so hopefully tomorrow I will have a more accurate update for you all!

Wish me luck!
BTW, my EDD would be Feb. 14...Valentine's Day:hearts

GAH! DD has a stomach bug--fever of 101 and vomiting. I just read in What to Expect (When You're Expecting to Freak Out) that high fever between weeks 3 and 7 can cause birth defects. Should I be worried? If I vomit, that's not too bad, I guess...but if I get a fever, should I take Tylenol? I don't even have a midwife yet.

Gah!!!

Hi Feb Mamas! Congratulations to all! It's so exciting to join my first DDC on MDC...Looking forward to getting to know all of you over the coming months!

I'm originally from NC, USA but have lived in China for the past 3.5 years. I have a 2.5 year old daughter and realized three days ago that I'm pregnant again. This baby was conceived on Mother's Day and was coincidently the last day that my dd nursed. She had her last feed on Sunday morning and then didn't even ask to nurse on Monday morning or since (she was only nursing in the mornings).

I think I'm due around 2/3...right around the time of Chinese New Year 2008. By the way, if babies are born before Feb 7 it will be a Golden Pig (a very auspicious zodiac sign) or a Earth Rat if born after the 7th.

No symptoms here...except a bit of early onset "baby brain." Under normal circumstances, I'm really not the type to forget my zip code when I go to the post office or lock myself out of the house twice in a week

Good luck to all!

Mine hasn't hit too much yet, but I'm just waiting...

ShanghaiMama: Now I will have to look up the meaning of the signs. Earth Rat doesn't sound too exciting, but what do I know?:lol

As for me, definitely joining the club!:twothumbs I got a very clear BFP today, even though I was sure I was pregnany already.

So far I am feeling ok. In some ways, it feels exactly like pregnancy with my son, but in one big way it feels different...I am SO emotional!:( Even when there is nothing wrong, I feel like I could burst into tears if something went poorly, and I am not the crying kind! With my son, I only felt hungry and tired at this point, but the past few days, I have been hungry, tired, and needy.
My DH and I both have a "feeling" that we are having a girl this time, and I don't know if it is possible that this early in a pregnancy that the different hormones from having a girl or a boy would result in this hormonal ebb and flow.
Anyone who has had a girl already have any thoughts?

Thanks!!! Can't wait to enjoy the next 9 months with you all!!!

I'm hoping I don't follow that pattern this time! lol have the sore breasts, some dizzyness (didn't realize that could be a pg thing!), tight feeling in my tummy and totally mommy brain! lol although my friends tell me its too early for me to use that as an excuse! lol

My supply has really dwindled down a lot. DS is only 8 months so I'm praying I don't dry up before he's 1!

I'm tandem nursing my nearly 4 year old and my 17 month old and so far no change in my supply. I was able to nurse through my last pregnancy with no change at all so hopefully I will be able to do the same this time.

I'm due either 2/2 or 2/11... depending on which period I go by. (I got two back to back so am unsure which one was the real one. :dizzy:)

Well, i haven't done the math on a date yet, but I guess I'm here too. This is far from planned, or even a surprise-- it's an absolute shock. We were actually saving up for Mike to get snipped, hoping to have that done within the next six months. So... yeah. I'm pretty sure we're looking at February, probably with a date toward the end but a birth toward the begining (mine tend to come a bit early). :wave

I can't believe I only found this thread now. My edd is 2/11/08. This will be our third. We've been trying for over 2 years, so we're really excited it's finally happened again!

Ah, What to Expect. I read everything while I was pregnant with my first, including those (three of the ?four titles). Then Bean was born and I was trying to figure out if he was normal or what. I quoted something from What to Expect-- The First Year, and how Bean wasn't there. My sister laughed at me and said, "They lied to you about pregnancy. They lied to you about labor. They lied to you about birth. Why do you expect them to start telling you the truth now?" It was an excellent point, one which my Swiss-cheesed mind had failed to consider. I closed the book and never opened any of them again. :lol
