UGH - sick with a cold

I started getting a sore throat last night. Couldn't sleep well - throat hurt head hurt, chest and back hurt *and* up twice to go to the bathroom :irked: It was awful.

Is there anything I can do to feel better? My nose is stuffed up making me breathe through my mouth and that makes my throat hurt more :gloomy: I don't have a fever, at least.

Hot water, honey and lemon? Zinc lozenges are safe during pregnancy as well...

Thanks flapjack - I took a nap and am feeling better.

However, now i'm freaking out that the medium rare steak I ate on Friday gave me toxoplasmosis :dizzy: Achiness and swollen glands are symptoms and I have that plus sore throat and fatigue. I guess I'll call my midwife tomorrow :gloomy:
