Need help with breech baby

A friend of mine is 36 weeks pregnant with a breech baby. She would like to avoid a c-section, but her midwives do not deliver breech babies. She is seeing an accupuncturist today but would like other suggestions on how to get the baby to turn. They have also scheduled a version for her on Monday, but she is hesitant to try that before she tries other things first. Any suggestions?

Also - if you had a version, did it work?

I've heard of things like putting a bag of frozen veggies at the top of your stomach -- supposedly the baby will turn to try to get away from the cold. Other than that, I don't know. Sorry I'm not much help. :( I hope things work out for your friend.

My DF's babymama #1 had luck with moxibustion. DF thinks that it was coincidence, but hey, it can't hurt to try.
