Hola, everyone. I'm Sarah, and I posted the following on the midwifery board, where it was suggested to me I post it here. :) After searching a bit, I found you! *laugh*

I wanted to spread the word about the consumer advocacy organization I'm a part of. Midwifery in Texas is being threatened through legislation, and we are working on making certain midwifery remains an option for all women in Texas. We're a new organization, and our website is a work in progress *laugh*, but we're making huge steps forward.
The url is http://texansformidwifery.org/ and I'd appreciate any visitors.
You can join the organization for free, as a non-voting member, or for a fee (from $10-$500) and be able to vote in state-wide elections.
We need all the support we can get, financial and otherwise, in order to support the right women have to choose where and with whom they want to give birth.
