I am almost 31 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. I have not felt any baby hiccups with this pregnancy. With my last 2 I felt baby hiccups regularly. I know that the presence of hiccups is a good thing but is the absence of them a bad thing? I feel the baby move all the time but I just wondered if anyone else had a "hiccup-less" baby?

My sister had two healthy PGs and safe, normal deliveries of healthy babies and never felt hiccups with either one. She thought I was nuts when I was PG and complaining about baby hiccups!

Well, my last baby didn't *never* have them, but she had them VERY infrequently. This baby has them multiple times a day. I wonder if the position of the placenta may explain why we feel it more w/some babies than with others?

My first daughter had them a lot and continued to have them when she was a newborn. My second daughter never had them and I don't think she ever has had hiccups. I'm 35 weeks and just felt the first hiccups yesterday.

Thanks for chiming in--I figured it was one of those things that I shouldn't worry about but sometimes it helps to ask others, know what I mean?
