Five seconds after my digital + I went online and ordered red raspberry leaf, nettle, and 3 maternity bands (like bella bands (http://www.ingridandisabel.com/index.html), different brand).

I'm making myself wait to buy the Big Flopsy (http://www.redcastle.nl/index.html?lang=nl&target=d58.html) pillow, but only because it's so darned expensive. I'll probably buy it in a month or so, when this pregnancy finally sinks in :).

The only thing I've gotten for baby is a pack of pacifiers. But I did get a lot of baby scrap booking stuff. I still have soooo much stuff from Ds I think I can get away without buy too much stuff until babe is born. And if babe is a girl ... well shop till I drop!

We were Done (so we thought :wink ), and the youngest is almost 7. Everything baby-related is gone! I have to start over from scratch. Not that I mind :mischief

Well even if you did still have the stuff from the 7 year old it would be all old and stuff... out of style so you'd have to buy more anyway. :lol

I don't really have the money to buy anything right now, but I have definitely started crocheting. :D

I've bought a few diaper and babycarrier making supplies. I finished my carrier and now I need to finish the diapers to be EC backup. I'm starting to look for some boy clothes and little Tshirts for ECing.

The most exciting thing we are going to buy is a new carseat for dd. The baby will go into her convertible and DH has agreed to get a Britax for dd. I have been coveting one for so long! Of course he wants to wait until we get our tax return, which is prudent. But I just want it right now!

I have a huge diaper, wool, and carrier (mostly wraps) stash that I've been building for over a year...using the excuse that they were for work and demos! :lol

Now I can admit that they are for me! But I haven't bought anything specifically since I found out. Mostly because I left the next day for Europe, and I haven't had a chance to get out much- I've been taking care of my friends who just had a baby on Monday. But I'm hoping to buy a cute wooden toy or 2 while I'm here.

I've been "shopping" but not buying yet. Trying to decide on some new cloth diapers, carriers, and a decent stroller (I hate the one I have). OH, and a digital camera (yeah, I'm still using film).

If anyone has ideas on any of these I'd love to hear!

All I have bought so far is bulk herbs for tea... RRL, nettle, alfalfa, and... something else (forget what! :lol ) When they all arrived yesterday, dh just looked at me like I was crazy pulling out all these huge bags. But I need them for the baby! I am sure this is just the beginning!

Let's see...

I've bought six newborn onsies, five flannel receiving blankets, one sleeper, one pair of knit longies & hat for the babe.

For me I've bought 3 maternity shirts, 3 pair of maternity pants, and one maternity skirt.

All of these were used, though, from thrift stores or garage sales!

ETA: Oh, and I bought 3 yards of flannel today to sew up some baby gowns.

Ooooh, linguistmama, another ECer! We started from the beginning with DS, and are SO going to do it again! Last night, actually, DH was talking about how he was starting to remember the unpleasant things about newborns, and brought up meconium. Then I pointed out to him that, with the experience we now have with ECing, we'll be able to just catch that stuff in the toilet most of the time. ;-) He brightened up like daybreak at that!

I was going to say I haven't bought anything yet... but that's not true! I bought two books (Siblings Without Rivarly and Birthing From Within), and dropped $160 on maternity clothes at Target yesterday. ;-) I was already due for new clothes (in a larger size :-/) BEFORE getting pregnant, and was sorta putting it off on the off-chance I could just go maternity shopping instead. Isn't it handy that maternity-style shirts are strangely in fashion for everyone?

Ah! Linguistmama and Ironica I can't believe there are other EC families in this DDC! We EC'd DS from about 3mos and had incredible success! We totally look forward to doing it again :) In fact, DH, who was initially totally against EC, just said to me "I can't imagine life without EC." :lol

I bought 3 pairs of maternity pants and I HAVE TO get some maternity tops SOON! I haven't bought any baby stuff, but I hope to tell my mom our good news tomorrow, and I think it will really sink in then.

I'm toying with the idea of EC with this babe. DD (16 months) hasn't worn a diaper in 3 days and is VERY predictable at "signaling" when she has to go.
If this babe is anything like her it would be pretty simple! :thumb

I have been seriously thinking of keeping the babe in organic only clothing for the first few...whatever. (Weeks, months?) I wish it were easier to find and cheaper!

Well after all the talk on here about the bella bands. I went and got a Tummy Sleeve from Motherhood. (tax free weekend!) I'm trying not to go too crazy for stuff....

What else would be nice to have? I've never really got anything for myself when pregnant, so I think this time I'll do more for me.
