where do you get fabric for diapers and covers?

I'm thinking about sewing covers and the mantra is breathable - breathable - breathable. I think this probably means wool is my best option, but I have no idea where to obtain appropriate fabric. Somehow I don't think the thin wool suiting at the local fabric store is going to do the job.

Any hints?

A lot of us have been buying the merino from www.fabric.com lately. Prices are reasonable and the wool is a nice weight for either a one layer or two layer cover.
