My favorite NIP moment was when I was nursing DS at the Home Depot while arguing with the sales guy about the toxicity of carpet padding. The poor man didn't know WHERE to look, and here I am haranguing him about off-gassing which he probably had no idea about either.

DH thought it was hilarious.

My strangest is driving from Orlando to Miami in a packed car with dd1 and 2 in back dh between them my mom in the trunk(small SUVish car) me in front. Dd2 was 14 months and screaming for like 2 hours. We couldn't stop as my mom and stepdad had an appointment. So I leaned my seat all the way back, leaned over the seat and nursed her while driving down the crowded highway.:lol The other drivers had an eyefull that day!

I've never nursed in a bathroom. Never.

I've often avoided designated "nursing rooms" because i don't HAVE TO hide away when I nurse - ie. I will not walk halfway accross the mall to the nursing room when I can park on a bench right here and feed my kid. (I still think they're a good idea, btw.) Nursing wherever you are is NORMAL.

Also, I will be discreet, but will not cover up.

Of course, I live in polite little Canada where nobody dares comment.
