Hello,

I just found out two days ago I'm pregnant! This is my first pregnancy. My husband is afraid it's not going to stick, I think just because he's a man. :) My EDD is April 10th. I am planning a homebirth with a midwife.

Mostly, I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY! Looking forward to knowing some ladies going through the same things with me!

Congrats and welcome!!!!! I think it's harder for DHs b/c they don't notice anything too different. My DH sounds kind of like yours. He's kind of not too vested in the whole thing yet...

My dh didn't really come to terms with my first pregnancy till about the 9th month:lol He'd just turned 22 and wasn't exactly ready to become a father. :rolleyes
I'm sure your dh will grow with you during this beautiful time!

Thanks everyone! Yeah, the pregnancy is really reminding me of our wedding. He was pretty mellow about all the planning (whatever, whatever, do what you want... etc), but then he was the one who literally sobbed and sobbed through the whole ceremony, hardly able to even say his vows! I'm kind of expecting 9 months of his mellow behavior followed by an incredibly emotional birthing experience with him and major baby bonding. :)
