So I had had one pp period last month when DS was 18 months, then nothing since. Took a test at day 37 and a negative, took a test today at day 49 and it was a bold positive. Yay!
One reason I wasn't sure if I should test again was because I was and am having period pain. Not a lot, but my lower abdomen and lower back are achy. THis is our 3rd baby and I had 3 early miscarriages while trying for #2. I actually didn't even think about the miscarriage option until about an hour ago when I realized it happened before x 3, it could happen again.
This is going to be such a stressful 4-6 weeks ahead, and DH and I are supposed to fly across the country in 2 weeks for a anniversary trip which just adds to my nervous list.
Anyway, could these aches mean an impending miscarriage, or could it just be pg feelings? Oh and I was shocked by the test today. I dont feel pg at all, no breast tenderness, morning sickness, nothing. I am really tired though, but that could just be me.
Anyway, thanks for listening to my ramblings
Leslie

I had a ton of implantation cramping with this one (I'm 33 weeks now). I spent the week before taking my pregnancy test telling my best friend and DH that I couldn't be pregnant because I was cramping just like before my period. So, it could just be that. I had quite a bit of implantation cramping and round ligament pain from maybe 4-8 weeks or so. Hope that's all it is!!!!

Good luck!

I had bad lower back pain from the moment of conception, practically, and have had it on and off ever since (now 10wks). Some lower ab cramping, too, though nothing too bad--I think both are pretty normal. Sticky vibes to you!

Those types of aches are completely 100% normal. I was sure I was either miscarrying or had a blighten ovum. Nope! Healthy fetus.

I also had quite a bit of implantation pain. And a little bit of pink spotting too. I was nervous that I was going to miscarry, but when I read up on it I relaxed mostly. It did feel just like period pain though. I surely hope that is all that your pains are. Best wishes to you and your family!:o

I had cramps like I was going to have my period even after my period was overdue. The doctor said sometimes it is an indication of possible miscarriage or a tubal pregnancy and the nurse basically said not to get my hopes too far up. But it turned out to be fine - I'm almost 36 weeks along. Baby will be here soon!

Since then, I talked to a lot of women who say they had cramps during the first month or so. Of course, every woman is different :)
